With her ending up at the monuments at the end of the episode I was half expecting her to carve some names into that wall herself. I get that it was to show the dichotomy between the Alba, having giant memorial gardens, and the 86, using scraps kept in a shoebox, but I figured they'd use the setting to start to bridge that gap a little. Even just Kaie's name.

Watched ep 4 of Pretty Boy Detective Club. I wonder if Fudatsuki is going to end up this show's equivalent of Moriarty or something. The way he alluded to "other investments" when talking to Mayumi was way too creepy, and his "playful mind" feels like it could be a contrast to Sotoin's "aestheticism". A casino for middle-schoolers though (complete with bunny-girls!), this series certainly does rock some unusual concepts. I had to LOL at the boys' idea of "dressing casually" involving getting decked out in ridiculously flashy suits (which in Hyota's case kinda' made him look like a high-class escort), surprised Mayumi didn't make some snarky comment about that.
I mean, it's pretty much explicitly illegal. Fudatsuki outright states the only reason no one rats him out is because he makes sure only those with a "playful mind" like him find out about the establishment. The only question at this point is whether his criminality just extends to underage gambling, or more evil mastermind-type stuff (which I'm still betting on "yes" for).
Watched episode 4 of The World Ends With You this afternoon. As an anime-only viewer, all I can say is that Minamimoto is hilarious and Joshua suspicious af. Was a nice touch that Minamimoto repeats the "kill your partner to survive" ploy Uzuki pulled on Neku back in the first game, but this time Neku is the one who sees through it and tells everyone they have to trust their partner (unfortunately, they seemingly all got slaughtered by the Noise anyway, because no Player whose not a main-character in this show can amount to anything significant). Definitely shows how he's grown as a person. Also, not being familiar with Shibuya IRL was I the only one who thought "Udagawa" in Neku's memories was a person instead of a place and kept getting confused who he was referring to?
Fruits Basket: Now it's been a long while since I read the manga, but I think I'd remember Momiji growing two feet between close appearances. I'm pretty sure he was still a shota when that whole Rin thing was happening, and it's been what a week or two since then? The student council pres is still there so the graduation hasn't happened yet, so less than a month.

This week's episode of Kiwame Quest: Officially acquitted, but public opinion of the stupid masses results in getting attacked by vigilantes, but you know what? Unlike regimented lawmen, aren't vigilantes nothing more than self-righteous bandits? There is no pleasure to be had from killing slimes or goblins or what have you, and human enemies generally drop better loot, anyway.
Moriarty keeps getting stupider every episode, and I can't tell if it makes the show better or worse. Aaide from last weeks reveal of old man Raiden from Metal Gear, this week the MC's kill "fake" Jack the Ripper, because even though they share the same goals, "jack" killed innocent underclass people to bring about revolution. Completely ignoring the fact they did the same thing with that drunk on the not-Titanic less than ten episodes ago. Also ricocheting a bullet down a chaingun's barrel using a soccer kicked shilling(?) from James Bond the woman two roofs away. But that's more laughing at absurdity rather than hypocrisy.

Oh, that guy sacrificed on the not-Titanic was apparently a heinous criminal.
In Isekai Maou, Diablo can declare his lordship of the dungeon to the maid but not the dragon? Yeah, coming from Overlord, I cannot approve of such disrespect to one's own subordinates (whilst sparing enemies just because they are human). The life of even 1 of my nonhuman pets is worth than 1000 enemy lives, even if they are human.
