Your not a TYPE MOON fan if you don't even own a TM Merch or haven't fapped to a TM character.
I keep seeing Type Lumina on sale but it's never fallen quite low enough (or I've never been quite interested enough) to buy it.
So... how is the game doing these days?
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
From vanilla, there has been a lot added on top of the story, though it's all joke content, it's probably worth buying and playing through for that alone. At low level it's very easy to pick up thanks to the autocombo system, which also isn't quite as offensively braindead as most Stylish variants, and basically teaches you the real combo stracture for when you want to turn it off.
If you intend to play it seriously, the shield system is very convoluted, which is what typically turns people off. It not being true jankenpon almost makes it worse for a beginner. Its approach to game balance is exemplified by Neco being a pretty unironic character that can get 13th on Evo, a lot of stuff in the game that's powerful is also somewhat stupid in core design (Moon Drive, Kouma...). If you can get past that, it has a decently sized community of all skill levels, making it a pretty alive game relatively to its scope. There has just been a huge balance patch, the jury is still out on its impact.

It's good. But it's the kind of game where you always think 'man I should be playing more Lumina' but then the memories of its less good aspects come flooding back. I guess that's strangely similar to my feelings on Blazblue. You won't be dealing with any of that if you're just going through the story modes, though.

Just got my first 100% today on Vlov. Yay me.
Who have you all managed to get 100% on?
Until my hopes are crushed under foot, I'm going to cling to the spider's thread that Sion's rich content is actually a TATARI update @Evo.
You mean the stuff in FGO? Do you think it's meant to tie-in with a release in MBTL? That would be kind of clever, especially if it includes a new Boss Rush storyline, but I'm not sure.
The priest was waiting for the arrival of the princess, who was only an enemy of all of them.
For the priest, the golden princess was the one and only main heroine.
Everyone else was unworthy of his respect, no matter how strong they were.
Tsukihime 2 Prelude III
Yeah, I also struggled with that, since I don't have a controller right now. I also only got the message from Steam that it was a free weekend during the last day when I was about to go to sleep so I had 3 hours of playtime.
Anyways it's sadly too late, but I think by default the confirm key was "J", not sure though but I just tried out some keys starting from the obvious ones.
Evo Tournament Schedule
This might be the best weekend in a while. Evo+BG3
What are your prospects of getting new stuff announced or hinted at?
.
Seems like suicide to not announce something and very peculiar given the games success. The complete lack of anything has me expecting a big update.
Maybe I really am optimistic but it's time for our deuteragonist and main heroine to show up.
If nothing gets announced post finals tomorrow, I'll consider this game dead until RG. If they're not announcing anything for EVO then I doubt there's anything they have to announce at a later date.
I already believe the game is dead until RG. Against my better judgment, I trust Neco-Arc's word.
To reiterate my prediction, they'll announce Under Night 2 and mainly focus on that until RG.
However, I believe they will at least do balance changes and stuff like that until then, so the game won't be "dead" dead.
