Aniplex's NA twitter account tweeted the translation announcement. They never tweeted anything about Melty.

Omits things and makes it hard to know who is being talked about at times. Poor translation choices at others.
That's the symptoms of the Lumina translator having a generally poor understanding of:
- Remake lore
- Broader TM lore
- Prepositions
- Long sentences
The first two is what the cause the omissions. They don't what say anything stupid on lines they aren't confident enough in, so they dodge challenge by just not saying things. The most emblematic case of this situation is 原理, the new Remake chuuni word for vampire powers. Most translate it here as Principle, and a few use Idea (Latin pronounciation, not English) due to Idea Blood. After two rounds of DLC, Lumina has yet to present to us the official term for it, as it has constantly dodged the word in its script, except the one it hilariously misinterpreted what a word was (the infamous "knowledge of the poles" line).
The first two kinda messes characterization by occasionally making a nice line rude and vice versa, or crediting a character's action to another, and it aggravates and is aggravated by how the translator doesn't have a good grasp on proverbs either. Mario and P. Ciel's stories were less bad than what came before it, but as a rule of thumb, never trust Lumina's localization.
(Also even if their translation was good, the loc would still be questionable for the amount of content they simply leave untranslated.)
