Little late but there's a Yumizuka-shaped grappler hole in Lumina right now for her to fill. I'd like Aoko to come back but from a balance perspective I see her struggling in the current environment where stumpy rushdown, wakeup shield and setplay projectiles vanishing on hit are a thing.

Also a little weirder, I think Shirou's gonna show up at some point. There are selectable color palettes for the entire FSN cast except him even though you can make him in customization. Seems like the kind of thing that happens when the game is almost done and DW decides last minute to start working on him as a character since Fate is the more valuable IP. French Bread has zero experience with live service models in this capacity so I think it fits.

Melty was never really the cleanest fighting game. Pause at any moment and there's always a derpy ass sprite hiding around the corner. That said they got a got more resolution to work with for Uniel, and Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax so the art is naturally better. Here many of the sprites are just 1:1 to the original game but with significantly fewer colors and attacks with the removal of Moon Styles. Combined with the miniscule roster they have more leeway for fluid animations like Red Arc's super.
