Arcueid looks so great with the long dress, especially when she's in motion. But damn...does this rule out normal Arcueid being able to customize into long dress? I hope not but now it's tough choosing between short skirt Arc and long skirt Arc to play as lol.
That's unexpected. Was following the announcement thinking all roster will be their vanilla versions. Would've expected Powerd and Vermillion addition if it wasn't for the fact this is the last character.

Since the remake, Red Arc is just 'slightly more serious Arc'. That's the kind of vibe they're aiming for and explains why she didn't inherit the former design. Not that I'm complaining, but I guess MB will indeed be getting revamped hard in the foreseeable future.

Judging from the profile on the official site, they're going to justify Warc's existence with something among the lines of "you know that thing about how Arc came back goofy after being killed by Shiki 'cause something inside her 'broke'? What if she 'broke' on the opposite end of the spectrum?"
ngl I was kind of disappointed at the lack of bloodshot eyes, but I think she still looks great. Her more yandere personality this time seems to be a different take on the same concept, which is cool.

Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
I'm definitely experiencing that dilemma. If only they incorporated Red Arc into normal Arcueid's move set. That might have been cool to be able to switch/transform between normal Arc and Red Arc on the fly. Definitely not for free, but spending the magic circuit or moon gauge to do so. Too late now but just a what-if. Might as well try to learn both characters.
I thought of Granny Skirt Arc as a possibility.
Makes sense I guess. She is technically the final boss of the remake, making her the final character revealed is fitting.
Since I'm shit at fighting games I have no idea who I'll play as, I'll just hit buttons until I figure things out and start using the characters that feel better I guess.

I was seriously hoping for Aoko, Saber or some kind of crazy guest character. I low-key feel like Red Arc's design is too close to regular Arc, but I guess that's also the point... Oh well.
I'm glad your hopes were dashed then. I'm glad Warc is back, she's one of the most fun characters Melty has. A shame the new girl doesn't get to do the iconic Warc laugh.
Red Arc's Arc Drive is called エールデゼーレ・ゾイフツァー according to Famitsu article. How would it be called in English?
