It's actually incredible that in an interview when asked if there were any "large" changes that Kamone went out of his way to mention that they've paid attention to the netcode. Those not in the know wouldn't be aware but many FG devs have historically tried to play a game of not mentioning their netcode, because it's often a neglected feature. Kamone is pretty in touch with his players and knows that this is a major contributor to a games success, so even though he prefaces that it's "trivial" he clearly doesn't think so, as evident by using it as an answer to a question about large changes

The questionable ones IMO are Nrvnqsr and Len. We have no reason to suspect Nrvnqsr has been cut, I'm just paranoid and think if he's in they'd show him. Len exists within Tsuki and has the full potential to be present, it's just up to whether they decide to feature her or not.

I would absolutely love if SHIKI somehow made it in, but I feel like if they are only pulling characters from Tsuki:Re then he won't show up, since Tsuki:Re so far is only going to be the near side routes.

Sacchin on release feels unlikely. Also wouldn't be surprised if they just did not put maids in because it makes no sense for them to fight outside of Tatari. Unless remake gives Hisui Ultra Furniture Instinct or something. And we haven't seen Nero yet, but if he's in the remake at all I'd be surprised if he's not in melty on release - he's really iconic and eyecatching. BIOHAZARD BIOHAZARD RESIDENT EVIL ARM

Since this is a what if story set before Tsukihime, I expect a Not!Sion and Not!Wallachia taking up two of the spots.

Another good boss character would be Aoko, but Mahoyo'd - she was the original boss character in Arcade, after all.

It'd just be weird to have Melty without the sillier fighters around, and Hisui and Kohaku are outright heroines of the original, so it gets double weird to think of a Melty without them.

If they put Len in, wouldn't be weird to also include Kouma to the mix. Unless they change Shiki's backstory, his role in causing Shiki's predicament in Tsuki should be crucial enough to at least got him a slot.

For me, replace Len with Aoko and this is basically my thoughts roster wise. The game is a what if scenario so vampire Satsuki and Len are possible i think. Instead of Noel, might be a original character for the game but she could work too.
