I listened to the OST today and checked the booklet.

I appreciate the first first Melty OP more ever since I read raito did the vocals because he couldn't find someone that would fit the image of the song he had in mind. I cannot also help but agree that Blood Drain was the most anime-esque song, but actually good unlike Lumina's opening which I genuinely think is the only bad track in this soundtrack. Also liked how Fortissimo was based on Riesbyfe and used 'strings' as motif.

I honestly don't know what everyone talking about with Noel's screams. I never noticed anything when I play as her, and of the few Twitch streams I've seen of Melty, no one ever played as her.

Not too interesting, so I'm not going to bother summarizing it. (mostly stuff about fighting game mechanics I don't care about)

That said, near the end there is an explanation about where the name of the game comes from.

French bread had many candidates which they provided to Nasu, one of them being Lumina, with the meaning of "light shone from the moon". This was eventually accepted by Nasu, who added the word Type- in front. Narita isn't sure of the exact meaning of this contribution from Nasu, but its what they went with.
