Anyway, Scrawt is on record saying he met Kamone on evo, who said he really wanted to put Sion into TL as it is, but Nasu explicitly forbid him. I guess that's why we're getting UNI2.
Hehe, well in some ways I respect Nasu's dedication to withholding characters for the sake of a future more ambitious worldbuilding.
He clearly has a concrete vision on where he wants to lead his franchise. I'm rather optimistic on the final product being high quality stuff. So I'm not too worried.

Maybe because she's already a nothing character in FGO, he wants her real comeback to be impactful and memorable, rather than be a victim of Neco Arc jokes, or something.
Given how she's been portrayed guesting in Fate, wanting to have her return to her main stage be significant would be reasonable.
