The newest Magireco anime is good. They keep the budget at the fights, but it would be better if it is a little slower so we can see the hard work the animators have put in for it.

sameeeeeeeeee!!! Most of the time the animation is too busy to catch on what's going on. I would prefer something more like Kyoko vs Sayaka from the first series, or Holy Mami battle from last season. The (three of) the Quintet vs Patricia one was well-paced, but I can't say that to all of the fights in season 2, especially the latest episode.
I need to watch the fight scenes twice to get how the fights were done, and 0.75x speed was the best. Iroha acting as a grenade launcher then catapult, firing spears and then linked into a web. Very nice, but moving way too fast. Feels like Yamcha watching Cell and Goku fighting.
Checked out the first episode of Edens Zero now that it debuted on Netflix. Pretty fun start to a sci-fi/fantasy romp. The twist with Shiki's robot friends acting evil so he'd leave rather than be left alone when they all fell apart was well-done and surprisingly dark for the opening of a Mashima work. Also until talking about it with my dad I never realized that Happy's name was a play on the popular cartoon character Felix the Cat (Felix meaning "Happy" in Latin).

I thought Felix was Luck, hence the Felix Felicuis in Harry Potter?
Drunk anime thoughts time: (I actually found a nice watermelon flavoured vodka after trying multiple brands.)
I hope this arc will answer my question of whether I like the MHA villains or not. I always like a good evil vs evil fight, and right now I'm hard in the LoV camp, but that's probably becasue the MLA is so nothing at the moment.
That dollhouse episode of Bakarina was pretty funny, but the season overall feels like it's lost a bunch of it's motivation without Katarina constantly trying to avoid her bad end. The characters bouncing off each other is enough for an entertaining watch, but without the overall plotline building up, it just feels like a bunch of unrelated things that just happen, not a story.
Peachboy Riverside: Poor Barsus. Only one day left to retirement. Woo, beat the fuck out of that child, Guard Captain. For a show with the premise of Not!Arcuied flipping out and murdering people, she really hasn't done that outside of the first time, has she?

Binged All Of Gundam In 4 Years, 1 Week and All I Got Was This Stupid Mask
FF XIV: Walked to the End
Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Digimon Adventure Episode 63: All the Lore! Was not expecting that in this episode. Was cool to see Valkyriemon make its debut after how long. Got a lot of vibes from the original Adventure movie what with Taichi taking care of a Botamon and for it to evolve into Greymon to save the day - all he needed was a whistle lol. We finally get an explanation for Omegamon's appearances though we still lack the name being stated. The last of the Crests has been obtained, all that awaits is the climax against the man behind the curtain...
Only three episodes left huh, I'm going to miss this show.

I have to say, Detective Is Already Dead's dialogue kinda' lost me at this point when it came to Hel's true nature. First Hel explains she was a split-personality created when Alicia was tortured to study the properties of her "peculiar" body, but then Siesta calls that a lie and says she was only pretending to be Alicia? Except then they keep calling Hel a split-personality of Alicia and there's no indication of who else she'd be? Even after rewatching that part a few times I still don't quite get what the twist was supposed to be.
Also with the end of this episode I guess Nagisa being Hel is basically confirmed at this point (well, they do have the same hair and eye color and their backstories of being alone and empty before going out to see the wider world for the first time are even similar to the point where when Alicia first recounted hers I wondered if the author was reusing backstories)? It's weird Kimizuka wouldn't have a stronger reaction to her having the heart if that's the last he saw of it though. Also if it does go that way I'm not really a fan of the show using this "some seemingly unrelated character = Hel" twist twice in a row now. Makes Hel feel like even more of a blank-slate now that she's apparently like three separate characters in one, and it's not even clear if they're split-personalities or literally just how Hel would've turned out if she had normal friends and wasn't indoctrinated to fulfill the prophecies of some crazy book...
Best gurl has arrived, the day is saved.

Finished To Your Eternity. Great show, despite being somewhat predictable and the animation struggling towards the end. Looking foward to S2

My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 107: So Kurogiri was a special kind of Noumu all along. Made from the remains of Eraserhead's and Present Mic's friend from school... I liked the reveal that while he does expel students, Aizawa will reenroll them to show them the difference between self-sacrifice and mindlessly throwing their lives away.
The part where their friend's face just showed up in Kurogiri's smoke was pretty shocking, I didn't think they'd get through to him.
And All For One being like, "The reason why we targeted UA so much is because of all of the high quality quirks there that could be put to use for my monsters.", was just despicable. I thought they just did it because it was the hero schoo, but this is so much worse.
I don't care what kind of backstory any of these scumbags have now, they all deserve what's coming to them. They're the lowest of the low, just pure evil.
At least they have a good lead from that, but this was hard to watch.

Remake Our Life: The way this show is going right now, I sort of expect all the runinng around MC is doing trying to get things done on time to be actually harmful to his preferred timeline. These are three legendary creators, who are constantly wanting to add to the project, and he's constantly talking them down. Like I want them to pitch the thing that made them famous in the OG timeline and MC has to balance actually making schedule vs cutting a seminal piece of media down to a lesser version.
Edit: Wait, is he really just realizing now that the writer who lives with the famous artist and songwriter was also the famous writer of the group?! How oblivious is he?
Edit 2: Oh Snap, god is a loli and future jumps? Hook me again show, why don't you? How is this show only getting 12 episodes? The pacing feels like it's not stopping anytime soon.

Sumeragi is basically short-haired Trifa.
Magia Record appears to encourage the same Ren philosophy of Dies irae, that getting your wish for cheap cheapens the wish. No, getting something expensive for cheap is just good business. It's not uncommon to pretend to devalue something otherwise expensive to pay a lower cost. To insist on paying a lot for something that you yourself consider priceless is nothing more than a loser's honor. Quaint but irrelevant.

Re-Main: Why the hell is a show about such a noting sport so compelling? Or better yet, why do writers of things about nothing sports manage to make it so compelling? I'm looking at you Welcome to the Ballroom. So now were taking plot points from KOTOR, and it turns out MC is actually Water Polo Revan. And damn is that a thing I never thought I'd say. Then add Double amnesia on top of it, the thing every character who doesn't remember their past worries about.

Meikyuu Black Company makes a Sky Rim reference. Basically, Rim's... little sister is named Sora AKA Sky.
Digimon Adventure Episode 65: It's all coming to a head for the final battle, very exciting. Komondomon proving why he is best doggo with firing himself into the sky to help. The jumping through the stages of Evolution to show how far the crew have come was epic and when all eight Megas gathered together for the first time since the Ancient War was awesome. Sad to see Algomon go as he was pretty cool but at least his death scene was epic, now all that remains is beating the man behind the man, Negamon himself.
I don't believe it, is Leomon really going to go the distance and not die this time!?
