Like I've noticed a lot of these series probably don't have English translations in the first place, nothing official, but like do these Japanese companies just deliberately ignore much of the Western world while claiming it isn't a big enough market or something?
I recall one reason why so many these Mangas had unofficial translations was because they basically never got official English/insert other language translations and because it's hard to buy copies as well.

I doubt it's a case of planning official releases because it wasn't only Type-Moon that had Mangadex take their stuff down, hundreds of manga have been taken down. There's an updating list of them here.
I will still hope that that means all of these manga are getting official translations! My cope will never die!

Most Japanese IP holders would choose to unwittingly sabotage their own profit than let some foreigners enjoy a little copyright law violation - control over profitability, etc
If nintendo is anything to go by, japanese copyright lawyers are a bit insane

Because Japan sure as hell isn't going to have all those series suddenly yoinked get licensed with official English translations I suspect.
It also doesn't help that for some of the works on Mangadex, apparently the official English localization sucked ass compared to the fan translations.

Hopefully they move the stuff to a more exclusive site that's harder to login and access (you can login only on certain days of the month). Kinda like exhentai and CGpeers.
