Never mind I got it backward but the point still stands and Vivaldi is right this is a really oversimplified view of Law and Chaos in SMT and SMT already has an Oversimplified view of Law and Chaos

Never played SMT
So I have been seriously looking around for some candidates, and I wonder if Nietzsche might be a good addition to your cast, given his philosophical connection to your stated themes.

A decent portion of Shin Megami Tensei games have different endings based on your choices within the games- often based off an alignment system of Law and Chaos. A lot of them fall into a situation similar to, "Caster want to permanently end the wars, whereas Archer wants them to go on, seeing them as derivative of humanities' will" where Law is traditionally a safe, comfortable option with the removal of free will, or the right to choose and such, vs Chaos who typically has a destructive, dangerous ending where anything could happen. In both, most characters in the game's cast not spearheading the main law/chaos routes are unfortunately delegated to the backseat, similarly to how you describe the other masters as only there to prop up Archer and Caster's masters
And now I'm wondering about theme songs for the classes.
If Foreigner isn't the X Files, I have several complaints.
Welcome to like 60 to 70% of servants. Seriously, Ushi is a rider, and has. No. Mount.
They have a very good point on this front. The divide is very much drawing into that series territory. Might actually be worth looking into a bit. Great series, and might help with refining some ideas, considering the similarities from an outside perspective.
...Or have Vididii do a fairly concise job of explaining it, I guess.

The other masters are not there only to prop up caster's and archer's masters, they just have the loudest voices

I just wanted to do the idea of aftermath of a previous war that messed things up badly, but no one remembered
Rider is really as much the animal class as it is anything else. Ushi, like Red Hare, is the mount.

Wait, that came out wrong

Random is doing something that deals with the aftermath of a war in Fate/Last Call so you can probably ask him for a more concrete idea
Crass jokes aside, this is why rider is my favorite class, since it's so free- just have to centralize it around mobility or skill-monkeying
I mean, understandable, but doing that whilst using literally all the masters from the messed up war takes a bit of the wind out of the idea's sails. Seeing someone have to deal with their mistakes is a fun arc most of the time, but having 7 characters going through the same arc is just weird. At this point it feels more like a seven way Peggy Sue story.
...To echo Random. Goddamit man.

That's actually why I suggested Nietzsche. "Congratulations, you accomplished nothing" and all.

Ok, I’ll kill the idea and/ or try to change it up
I don't think you have to kill it. I think you might benefit from having the boat shaken a bit. You must have played a visual novel before, right? This sounds like it's effectively the second route you play.

Personally, if you're really hooked on the concept of "funky grail war 2: electric boogaloo- Featuring the SMT alignment system and knuckles", I'd personally recommend keeping three masters or so total (Archer, Caster, whoever) and having the winner of round one move the grail elsewhere a la Apocrypha- bringing in outside parties who're trying to capitalize off there being what seems to be a fully-functioning, non-minor grail war going on. Definitely with legendary here, you don't need fucking 7 of them
Ok, I’ve got an idea. What if the new war starts with a meeting where no one agrees, so they decide to fight. Fun explosions ensue and everyone’s got their own idea of what to use War Beta to do

Oh, so only 3 rememberers and then new faces? That works
That is literally just a regular war but people are pre-acquainted
...I have to ask, explosions to what end?

Explosions to get the grail or potentially only Caster remembers the war and the others are just trying to win like normal
