Old SCP was like, couple dozen people or so. Maybe feasible, but you'd need people to have a ton of investment in the idea.

It's an online... I guess shared multiverse? It revolves around an organization that captures, contains and conceals the presence of abnormal entities or artifacts, kind of like the Department of Lore. It's big in Internet culture so I'm surprised you haven't heard of it.

The main draw of it is that it belongs to no one, and anyone can contribute new articles to the wiki. Other users will then rate your post depending on how good it is, and posts that stay above a certain threshold are allowed to stay. The main draw is SCP articles, which concern the specifics of the entity/artifact in question and how it is contained, but there's a bunch of other stuff including just regular old writing (Tales)

There's no real canon and although there's generally a shared understanding of how certain things should be, users are basically free to make up whatever they want as long as it's within reason.

I approach y'all with an idea for summer
Summer is usually a time when the activity is a bit slower. Summer heat, vacation, socializing have their parts in it. at least for us Northeners (sry brazil gang). One simply has not enough time to put effort into many sheets.
So, why not share the burden.

I have the idea that we have a Summer Contest that's purpose is to release a sheet TOGETHER.
My idea is that we create a Summer Collab Contest

Specific rules can be discussed later. Will we draw lots to see who will pair up? Teams are made up as they please?
With prompts or without? Will we write a short text with fields they wish to write servants for and people have to choose without knowing who they get but know their interests align?
It will not be a Secret Santa 2.0, but aspects of it can iinspire it.

It is a shower thought i had, so feedback if any would be interested to develop it further

My idea is that we can all have one big prompt (for example, a tropical beach resort), then we have different creators writing different Servants pertaining to the prompt (tourist, hotel staff, beach surfer, etc.) and in the end we see how it all comes together. Might be harder to organize tho.

I actually love that idea. It is like we write for one big event. My mental image is like that.



We lay out some special things about an event map like in FGO and there are special locations, events and stuff like that the participants can use to settle their servants in.
Some open a restaurant like my Vivaldi, others prefer to be at the beach, or at a concert. Others are interested in some ruins. In the evening is a carneval, someone rented a whole castle, gold tournament, etc could be established prior.

I don't know if I have the output to commit to a collab with a deadline but it sounds like a lot of fun.

The deadline thing is also something I have concerns about.
I would actually make it something longer than the usual 3 week period, because time schedules can be hard to coordinate.
I am always open for ideas and suggestions regarding this project. With so many positive reactions, it is settled that we will do this!
In preparation, I will probably make a thread to prepare us all and gather ideas,

Count me in! I love the sound this! Collabing with Serra before was honestly a lot of fun, so I definitely would be down to do something like that again but in a contest format this time. Speaking of, don't worry about it Serra, I know time slipped away from both of us during the Collab, but don't beat yourself up over, I think it worked out in the end.
I was actually planning on message someone about collabing after the Monthly Contest, but maybe I'll hold off on the idea I had so I can save it Incase I work with them during the Collab contest.
