• Psychic Atlasian
• Daemon summoner specialising in mental manipulation
• Church overseer
• Spiritual evocationist who is also an astromancer

I need one more Magus to complete the cast and I'm all out of cool ideas.

I recently got the idea to explore Floriography as a weird basis for magecraft. Or I have a bit of interest to make a descendant of my Gustav Holst as a mage but he has also ties to astrology.

I often Imagine a magus that specialize in Islamic Magecraft like recently in servants there is one skill that kept popping up and that this the Crest of Miracles, Ah al-Bayt. Though, I haven't really delve deep into the idea the basic one that gave for the servants that have this skill is they are able to make imitation miracles that Muhammad has done in his lifetime. It would be interesting on how a living magus that have this crest would do

I had a semi-joke idea of jazz being used as a foundation for magecraft. Tie it with other existing music-based magecraft, but this one focuses on improvising existing formulas on the fly rather than anything too theoretical or set in stone.

Also Jazz has it's roots in West African tradition and music. So, It would great place to find ideas for a magus. Then there is also the idea that came up with my recent Alter Ego. It would cool to have combination between Demonology and Projection. Like a magus can project demonic spirits into weapons that very in effects. Though the weapons might kept the spirits sentience. It could lead some fun scenes

I would be SO happy if we started that up again but the last time some tried to revive it no one seemed interested. I think the best call is getting a few new posts on the regular Create a Mage thread first then see if there's interest in a mage contest again.

Yeah. Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz derived binary numbers from the I Ching as far as I remember. You could even find a way to use daoism and gottfried wilhelm Leibniz as a foundation for magecraft based around hacking the world.

I'm thinking that Indonesia probably could have its own local Magus Association. In addition to uniting the hundreds of ethnic Magecraft Foundations, it could also be centered around the Magecraft System of Kejawen.

Random Servant ideas anyone is free to pick up:

William Dampier (Rider)- 17th-18th century figure most notable for being a pirate-scientist (set sail to the New World to be a naturalist only to end up basically roped into piracy by a series of unfortunate circumstances). A pretty fascinating guy but I had trouble coming up with fitting Skills and NPs for him (best I got was Calm & Collected to represent how he maintained his composure as a naturalist even on piratical excursions and some ability to record the things he sees).

Pied Piper Of Hamelin (Caster/Assassin/Avenger/Faker?)- A pretty famous figure I've seen sheets on before but there's a certain idea that hasn't been explored to my knowledge. Since "his" true identity is unknown I thought of making the Servant a personification of the mystery surrounding the 130 missing children itself, a "living phenomenon" like TATARI rather than any particular individual. They could take a childish form upon summoning and their wish would be for the mystery of their disappearance to be resolved, allowing them to rest in peace. Alternatively because of the connection between the Pied Piper and the Children's Crusade you could have him be a Faker with its leader Etienne of Cloyes playing the role of the Pied Piper, or the other way around (Etienne of Cloyes that's revealed to be a mask for the Pied Piper archetype).

Frederick Russell Burnham (Rider)- Founder of the boyscouts, hero of the Boer War, all-around adventuring badass and most unusually the man who nearly brought hippo-farming to America. I imagine he'd have some composite Skill from being father of the scouting movement, a failed version of Pioneer Of The Stars and hippo mount as an NP. There's a great article on the guy (which is where I first found out about him) here.
