I just thought it'd be fine to talk about the idea here since Osrio did it several times for his fic ideas and no one pointed it out then. Um... Now that begs the question of should I leave my post here as is or edit/delete it... ...nah, I'll leave it alone until someone says otherwise while I copy-paste it to the fic ideas thread.

Doing the Relationships section of a Servant again and I have to ask, are there any other canon Servants that have a special chariot like Iskandar?

Is it bad writing if I have a character tell an important lie during a dialogue-only chapter? I'm concerned that if I don't drop enough cues that Character A was fibbing, it'll be unfair to the audience? Especially if the only other character in the scene, Character B, mistakenly claims early on that they've made it so Character A is currently unable to lie. Although the possibility is set up in the chapter immediately preceding this one that Character B's magecraft is completely ineffective on Character A unless Character A chooses to go along with it (Character B does not know this).

But I'm pretty sure I want to do dialogue-only, sans quotation marks for the chapter in mind because it's essentially someone's intake, and doing something different stylistically is probably the most fun way for me to write it and for people to read what's a whole lot of back and forth. And it seems like a nice way to demonstrate that experience is a weird an alienating one.

It'd be pretty clear it's dialogue-only and if you're not establishing an omniscient POV, it's fair game. Recommended order of reveals - Character A is confirmed resistant to Magecraft B → thing happens that contradicts Statement A → "I lied "

I'm curious to know something, how do people here feel about Servants that don't fully cross the threshold into Double Summon, but instead blur the lines between Classes for one reason or another - like how Serenity has Independent Action as an Assassin or Lartoria having Riding as a Lancer.

Frankly, I don't mind it, especially with those two as examples- Riding's second to only what, Magic Resistance in distribution? And IA just sorta compliments her existing abilities to me- Eresh with her territory creation is another I like.

Overall, I'd rather the variety we get to have than super-rigid class lines

Depends perhaps if the other class is actually conceptually strong enough to stand on its own feet. If yes, the crossover might not be needed. Its a case by case basis.

If you mean like █████, it's not BBcode, it's symbols you can type anywhere using Alt + the number pad

Been studying historical Miyamoto Iori for fanfic purpose, and honestly surprised that no mention of Terao Brothers whatsoever both in FGO and in FSR. Their background could've provided more depths to Musashi, the PHH version at least. They could even potentially be summoned as two people in a single Class like Anne & Mary , too. Reading further, FSR Iori seems to be amalgamation of both of them than based on the historical Iori. Would've been fun for worldbuilding too.

I want to try making a Servant, but I haven't quite thought of what to give him for skills, NPs, and the like. If anyone else wants to help flesh it out, I'm happy to share the credit with them and can add them here as edits. Here's what I do have for him:

(Have yet to decide on others; perhaps one based on how the boyars would not open the gates of Tarnovo to Ivaylo and made George Terter emperor instead? That sounds like it would have a negative effect, but can't say how it would benefit him if it benefits him at all)

If the crux of his legend is his ascension, then ny first thought is to make him start out as a regular guy and have his Noble Phantasm give him a buff, like a sort of "king form".
