I think he meant the scrapped route that would involve accepting Shinji's offer to form a alliance in Fate route.
Because we don't know who would the heroine of that route people often call itroute.WakameShinji
Spoiler:
Wakame Paradise starring Optimus Prime was, and will remain as, a brain child of the fanbase.

No, as Tom pointed, the narrative is not the same.
Also, we are allowed to like fictional characters, even if heir morals are questionable . You consume a media about cute grls, mostly, at this point deal wuth it, and is kinda funny to think this just happen with girls , is not like Gil is a genocidal maniac and rapist in FSN , and since when they kep whitewashing him because he gained a fan base thanls to "cool" factor, that does not hapen with Shinji because he is too pathetic, and yeah, im not sayin he dont have nuance to him but as petri said , the narrative never makes you feel for him very much

1. He's still an egomaniac.
2. Genocidal? Of course not at the beginning of time or on the moon where there were few humans to begin with. Also, even in SN, his plan was more of a willpower (or whatever can be used to resist the Grail)-based massacre than a genocide.
3. As for rapist, again, when he's a king, he doesn't need to be because his king's right already allows him to sleep with women on their marriage night. Him being a rapist would be like that episode of Kirby: Right Back at Ya where King Dedede tries to rob a store of its Gacha prizes.
I legit cannot tell what I've just read.

I believe TheSeaDragon is saying how Gil is no longer portrayed as a genocidal maniac and rapist in later works. I'm saying that either he is not or that he no longer needs to be.

With Spanish subs because why the fuck not.
Stop Gilposting in my Tsukihime thread.
2 more days of bated breath. I happily welcome her to "the world beyond the looking glass".
Yes, the more you talk to Gau, the more you'll find his words to be ironic and hypocritical. Now, do you see why I find people, like Kirei, who learn to be honest about themselves (at least, towards themselves) to be better people? And I still find Noel to be that way to a certain degree, at least a cut above the regular Burial Agency rank-and-file that, according to Roa, the Church has "more than they know what to do with". Also, like with Roa, him nonchalantly killing a certain cat in the original continuity of MB (at least, according to his dialogue with Shiki) is unforgiveable, but him nonchalantly killing the BA rank-and-file is totally cool with me.
