The sense of bittersweet is a lot of what old nasu and the best of him was built on.

I really like the original ending as well because as bittersweet as it is I'm about as confident(IE not at all) as Shiki is that he could handle not going after her. It's very bittersweet but hopeful.
I'm hoping they don't just tack something on but rather completely change the route so that we can get something entirely new that stands on it's own without stepping on the original route's essence. That way they can set up a different future maybe leading to more Tsuki content. I'm totally expecting some meta "You've already experienced this, boy, here is your evangelion and your eclipse, good luck this go around".

I partially agree but I am at the age where good ending is preferable.... We need more happy ending to self-insert to

In case of a happier ending, will Nasu settle for Sasaki Shonen's version or something else entirely? Though I wouldn't want Nasu to retread the same conclusion, and that ending just didn't sit right with me personally. He might add another factor to the table that lets them achieve 'true' happy ending now that many concepts are introduced in the Remake, so a way to solve Arcueid's situation that were impossible in the OG are now possible here.

I like Arc True because Arcueid makes the decision to let go of Shiki for both of theirs sakes and it's really important to appreciate this moment of emotional maturity before Ciel's route tosses it all down the garbage.

Tsuki does do a wonderful job of manipulating the readers feels through presentations across other routes. Speaking of the manga ending btw, I do like how it plays off the what if theme that is so important to their relationship as she's dreaming in the end.

Remake gave Kino overdose. Thanks. I'd like to recommend the scene where Shiki wakes up right as he's about to murder random woman and the bad end where he violates Arc and Nanaya creeps in. This dude was born to voice Shiki.
