Tfw you write a story that has the theme of “all things must come to an end” as one of its emotional cores but it turns out to be too profitable to end.

FGO is wildly successful *because* it is a gacha. Many does in fact enjoy gatcha as much as people does enjoy gambling. Idk, people's enjoyment gets real weird when they have alot of money to burn.
Yeah. FGO without the Fate brand would fail. But also FGO without Gacha will drown in irrelevance.
Some gacha do have objectively better gameplay than others, and FGO's gameplay isn't the best. FGO's gacha wheels turn because TM waifus and an engaging plot.

I think FGO's concept is strong enough that it might have succeeded in another medium, but the gacha ensures success and profitability, so naturally that's what it is.
FGO Live Action when.
I remember seeing that picture on here but I couldn't remember where or when it was posted.
It is indeed glorious I must admit.
Ben Afflancer is just having such a good time.
And I can see Jennifer Lawrence having the quality ofneeded in order to properly bring Saber to the big screen.having no personalitystoicism

Haven't read the VN. If you mean the UBW anime, yes I have watched it.
I was being sarcastic, although I guess I couldn't properly convey it. My apologies for that.
Saber being boring is a popular opinion amongst people who only look at her at the surface level (in other words, most of them), so I thought about doing a bit.
What? At the absolute worst, FGO without the gacha would be yet another novel like SF or Apoc or Case Files, which some people would love and some would hate and argue about ad nauseam. Sure it wouldn't be an international phenomenon but it would also not "drown in irrelevance" any more than any of T-M's previous works did. And of course there's always the golden mean of it becoming a breakout successful videogame without resorting to gacha mechanics.

Sorry, sarcasm in text, you know. Can never be sure.
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
Not really? As many Servants point out, they are themselves ghosts and records summoned to the current era. For the most part, their stories are over. Narratively speaking, the focus wasn't really on them in F/SN and FZ, at least.
