An adaptation of the last of 3 original visual novels- The way ML has been done in anime is like adapting Apocrypha or Fate/Extra first, and then adapting FSN HF without any anime version of Fate or UBW

Muvluv alternative 01: the 2d animation is very poor, and the episode was a badly paced, cliched, utterly uninteresting anime original intro to the muvluv world, but the 3DCG is very solid. Wouldnt recommend to newcomers, wouldnt recommend to old fans who want a decent MLA adaption, but if youre just interested in seeing some really cool action cuts of CG mechs kicking alien ass, might be worth it.

Usually people complain about bad cg ruining their 2D anime, here its the opposite.

Evolution Fruit: Is this just Arifureta again? Only with better animation and less grimderp? I don't know how I feel about that that. Arifureta was only funny because of how seriously it took itself when it was complete dreck. And then the nerd used his Smash Stink powers as a secret weapon. I'm done.

This makes Arifureta's anime look like AOTS - there's one joke, and they ran with it for hundreds of chapters. It just changes from "You're so ugly even your status window makes fun of you" to post-evolution "You're so amazing your status window worships you". Every would-be problem is fixed by reality re-writing itself to please the MC, even as all he does is whine. The characters are one-dimensional shallow caricatures - even the haremettes are hollow shells, while the villains never even manage to get that far.

In case you couldn't tell, I didn't like it, and unlike 100 years of Slimes, it doesn't improve at all by being animated.

Part of the fun of 100 years of Slimes is how the MC gives no fucks. Sure she can punch out dragons, but she just wants to live in her little cottage and relax. It's a comedy driven by the characters and not the plot.

Banished from the Hero's Party: Pretty chill. A little bit of OP protag but that seems like it's because he's smurfing. Also amazingly not an isekai.

Assassin Isekai: Okay, that Alan Smithee joke got a laugh out of me. Inoffensive so far. Liked the Zatanna style magic.

Sakugan: Is that you Gurren Lagann? Tengan Toppa Made in Abyss?

Komi-San: Feels like they put a lot of effort into this one.

That "someone" being the same people who did Death Note manga. Platinum End's manga is done by the same people as Death Note

They do have close range weapons. Every TSF model regardless of country of origin has at least combat daggers. As a main close range weapon many Japanese mechs also have katana, european models usually have swords or battleaxes, or arm mounted blades etc. American units dont use as much close quarter weaponry though, because americans love guns guns and more guns.

I was just wondering because there were plently of time where they were using point blank rockets in the back of a beta, where most other shows would just have them cutting the thing instead.

World's End Harem got delayed because the production committee wanted to "closely examine" the anime's production. Should I interpret that as Funi/Crunchy getting triggered about something, so like Playstation, they're pressuring the anime to be censored across the board?

More likely its the Japanese station that airs it. Isn't At-X the one that always ends up with the shows that have way more nudity? That's where the uncensored DxD aired, and I think I remember it being on Peter Grills, for the few minutes I paid attention to it.
