Bah. Late, but got Erik's relationships updated to include everyone after him! And thanks so much to everyone's comments on Anti-Servant Erik! I was so worried so I'm glad it worked out for you.
...i'd give my thoughts in return but i don't feel as up to it this time despite less entries. Sorry. X/
So. Uh. Best I can do is one: like Saron said, everyone was POPPING OFF for this prompt. WOW.
And two: give my thoughts on my votes.
Which are:
1 point: Madawg
...the craft essence got me
Of course, the sheet before and leading up to it was great (and yes i read the original too when you posted it...but didn't comment on it danggit)
But that craft essencr
Just...ugh
Yeah
Hit me with a something-something-tonne of feels and emotions why don't you?
2 point: Boudica
I love it when someone makes the most out of a bad thing without "getting rid" of it and instead, shockingly, makes it work, because I feel like it takes skill and creativity to think of how to do it and execute it well. And that's what this is.
...also i am also fond of boudica tho proly nowhere near as fond as you
3 point: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
...ok
ill admit
i cant quite parse...why this one stuck out to me so much.
Okay that's not quite right. I couldn't quite decide what is it about this sheet that got to me for a while.
Maybe because I'm fond ofHerlockSherlock. Maybe it's because I like mysteries and thus like mystery authors (tho i havent read too many...i really need to). Maybe because it's a format that is more my taste. Maybe it's because I can sympathize with Conan Doyle's feelings of "the work I'm most proud of isn't popular/liked, but my popular work isn't the one I'm proud of/don't care for at all".
...but I think, after thinking about it, in the end, it's because I went "HOLY SHIT THIS SHEET WAS AMAZING" from a sheet of yours Dreamerless, when before most of them don't land for me (except for Don Quixote before now), makes it really, really stick out in my head.
Add in the above and other factors I can't remember off the top of my head, and I can't help but wanna give all my points to my new favorite sheet from you. So take your three points.

Persona 5: Refraction (SV link; FF.net link)
"You didn't have to fight for me, you know." "And you didn't have to curl your hair so we'll look even more alike." Ren stared before he softly chuckled, Akira joining him not long after. With one simple decision as a child, Ren Amamiya goes to Tokyo alongside his little sister, Akira. (P5R Sibling AU) (Ren/Ann, Akechi/Fem!Akira)

1 Point: Kamo Serizawa
This sheet was just... great. The combining of Serizawa with his GudaGuda lore was an excellent decision, and it doesn't help that I'm biased towards Metal Gear Rising.
2 Points: Courtaud
As a local Rome addict, this was... great! The idea of the Wolves of Paris being a 'Roman legion' admittedly, hit hard as well. The only slight nitpick I have is how the Noble Phantasm's description sort of... doesn't make sense to me? This might just be me as a more function based person though.
3 Points: Arthur Conan Doyle
There's a few reasons I'm giving my maximum points to this.
1. I absolutely adore the Sherlock Holmes series. 2. While Omnipotent Insight at first looks overpowered, on closer look, it's amazingly inventive. 3. That Craft Essence hit me so damn hard. And finally... 4. I may or may not have my own interpretation of Arthur Conan Doyle planned...
...wow, was not expecting to get 3-pointed twice. Thanks, Machi! Looking forward to your Doyle

1 point: Arthur Conan Doyle
It's brave being the first to take a shot at writing an unknown quantity like Anti-Servants, and I admire how perfect an example of one you managed to turn out. The sense of Doyle being crushed beneath the weight of his own work's something you really managed to get across here, plus the Craft Essence that got me right in the heart, probably one of your best.
2 points: Courtaud
And it's another amazing Simple sheet! Your style really works its magic here, how we slowly just keep compounding more and more of her struggle, her personality, all the things that make her who she is, like the steady march of an army. You've got a real knack for imagery and applying it to convey character, I love her....
3 points: Tokugawa Iemitsu
Of course I have to vote for a fellow angst-lover. Your writing is always so evocative, but the way you took the self-destructive subtext of Anti-Servants and made it delicious, unabashed text? Perfect. The steady build-up to his Viral Phantasm is an absolute treat to read....
First: I am really sorry it took me so long. week has been busy and it will stay that way for three more weeks. I will survive!
unto the winners, i sadly could not read yet
1st place is Vididii with his Boudica with 12 points
2nd place is sutaa with Edward Tudor with 9 points
and, unprecedented, we have 4 3rd places, each with 7 points: Eric Vacho by Draco, Madawg by Saron, Lancelot by Dreamerless and Courtaud by Simple
congrats to you all. I hope you made Random proud.

Altering quotes to gain attention is a serious crime, Dreamerless. I hope you know that.
Xmas is approaching.
I'll let it slide.

Sorry to be that guy, but you got the Servants mixed up. Dreamerless was "Sherlock Holmes." Lancelot was Errant's.
What an embarrassing display from our host Mr. Del Rey
Yo, thanks for the votes everyone! I don’t think there was a bad servant in the bunch- but regardless, I’ll see you in like 2 months at Quetzamania
talking to the king in his own throne room like that is punishable by death
btw, the next contest is actually in March, because in january the beloved Secret Santa Contest will commence![]()
