She's a mix of both, but frankly she's not really good as a damage dealer tbh. Her NP and skills are not enough to make up for the lack of a damaging NP, compared to Super Orion who can make up for it because LOL that crit damage. But her support is just okay with a slight more preference to Buster teams, nothing spectacular apart from the Overcharge which is useful only if the unit has a good Overcharge effect.

If she was a full support you would have access to more Buster crit damage, an invincibility and 50% NP charge to another unit apart from what she already offers, making her a pretty good Buster support, which is why I want her to get those changes.
With Merlin & Castoria she's almost immortal & hits hard. She's also great at overcharging Castoria's NP
I'm sure every Himiko player knows that combo. The question is more what her role outside of it is.

I don't really see why she'd need to be full support. It'd be more general than niche, but being niche for stall teams isn't bad.
Himiko wouln't work that well as a general support, you lose too much value if you don't use her for Buster support if Himiko skills could affect other allies.
For example, Castoria can be used in pretty much any team, not only Arts, because pretty much everything she provides is compatible with any team, and even her Arts Up is beneficial for non-Arts teams since it gives higher NP gain from Arts cards for your supports (apart from being able to protect others too). Merlin is the same, the only thing you lose is the Buster Up from his third skill, but you still have Max HP which is a heal and the Crit Damage Up that is not limited to Buster, and then the constant NP/star/HP regen and invincibility.
For Himiko, you would lose the Buster Up from her second skill, the one from her NP, and the Buster crit absorb and damage from her third skill. That's a lot of things you're losing here for wanting to use her as a general support, and the problem with Buster buffs is that unlike Arts you don't get any benefit from giving it to the supports as it only provides damage that they're not going to be doing, it has to go to your damage dealer. She still would have some solid things, but nothing that encourages using her in non-Buster teams.

Weren't the raids worse than normal quests last time?
The only efficient Himiko DPS strategy is NPBB CS Cardlock, and obviously you are not gonna beat any records with non-damaging NP.

The raids were garbage for raids because they only dropped, at most, 1 mat on average. Literally better off just doing the regular 40 AP spots unless they improve the raids this time around.
I care more about the gold skill gems at this point. Plz tell me the raid bosses drop caster and assassin gold gems.
Nothing is going to be better than lottos for skill gems, so if you're planning to spam apples, wait for that. Even if that wasn't the case, mat drops overall were garbage from the original raids, which is why only 2 died somewhat quickly.
Are they even going to do lottos again? They did just give every player 1k 5* exp
