Comun, those are some great examples. We could expand to weirder dishes in general if we wish to make the point further, with things such as Sushi Soup and Bean Temaki.

That pizza has a bit too much cheese and it seems like the guy skimped on the tomato sauce. Dislike the corn too, but that's a perfectly regular pizza.

Also, european culinary is surrendered to stagnation and elitism. Brasilian cuisine is the true way.

Yes, it is. And they're probably gonna smell a bit off after passing through the tropics unrefrigerated but these are risks I simply must take. Why should pizza obligatorily have tomato? Whenever we make sweet pizza here, we just don't put tomato in.

Unsweetened chocolate goes well with tomato (e.g. mole sauce).

I wouldn't like sweetened chocolate with strong-tasting cheese, but that's just personal preference. The fact that it hasn't become trendy yet is probably down to the vagaries of history.
