I'm fully on board the Ryouma Pretender train. Mostly because of Okuni's append skill, but also his eyes are a different color and Oryou makes a big deal out of asking who the hell he is.
This event isn't just a FFVII reference.
It's also a Ninja Slayer reference.

With the 5.5 lock, you would think this event would be harder.
The more we go into this event the more I'm convinced 5.5 lock = just a ploy to get people to catch up for lb6 locked event
People always talk about this as soon as any "ah bit of a liar innit" comes up and it just feels like people are completely missing the point of what pretenders are supposed to be. I mean, granted, I didn't play today's chapters yet, but just because you're a "fake" doesn't make you even remotely applicable for Pretender.

If Shinpei's the mask guy, then he's ugly and generic, so no thank you.
Just noticed that the new Ryoma's sprite doesn't have the same eye color as the in-story Ryoma does, so that'll probably mean that the eventual summonable Ryoma will just be a souped-up Ryoma as opposed to whatever's going on with him in GUDAGUDA 6.

Huh, maybe the detective missions won't be that big a deal. Somehow down to 4 now when I had 15ish before, thought we were just going to keep getting them as we completed them.
