I have not been looking much at this manga. When I saw a pic of Lancer I checked it out and I couldn't go back to look a old scenes. So when I saw scenes that happened I think only in UBW I thought this may have come out during the Movie or series.
Wait a tic, HF isn't done yet right? This was just a whim because the artist liked Rin. Wait, this is the person that did Chrno Crusade right? Might be interesting.
Hope this one isn't gonna take till 2025 to finish. As for being able to add stuff, it is favorable that the anime added things so there is a good outline, but these Fate adaptations go off the rails by artist/author whim (honestly a lot of modern adaptations really, the Bakemonogatari manga by Ogure Ito is just wild).
Wait, didn't the original FSN manga already follow UBW rather than Fate? Or was it a mix? Sorry, since Tokyopop died (resurrected years later though) before they could complete the English translation of the series, I never finished it (I mainly buy my manga, and only use scanlations when official translations don't exist), and it's been years and years, so my memory is vague. But I don't really recall it being a straight Fate adaptation.

Kinda weird to pull out a UBW manga now... like, is anyone who isn't too far gone into this franchise even gonna bother reading this?
Well at least if it finishes before the HF manga we'll have something to meme about.
It followed both UBW and Fate iirc, jumping between the two, but I think it ended on Fate.
burn your dread you coward
A mix. Fate route until Rider death, UBW until Caster death and Archer coming back to Rin without battling Shirou, Fate again until Berserker death, then Caster pulling a bizzarre "I was not really dead" just to be immediately killed by Gil, and from then straight up Fate.
Because you are too young. Or too stupid. Or both.
sounds like a mess, was it good? the art always put me off

I don't think there's any connection between game price and manga availabilty?
It is weird that the US didn't get everything though.
You know what's even weirder? That no one bothered to publish the Fate/Zero novels in English.
While our taxing laws are bullshit, manga has been exempt from it to a degree. National publishers/printers, and the industry has a much stronger base than videogames. Videogames only really had TecToy before Playtronic, and availability was ass. They really only got sort of affordable in the PS3 days, and after around 2014 it all plumeted back down. Your only option was piracy. The manga industry is much stronger, thanks in part to the cultural force of Japan, especially since Mauricio de Sousa, a writer of the biggest comic in Brasil, Turma da Monica, is and was a big partner with a lot of manga artists back when it as a whole was in its infancy. Plus, printers like Conrad and Panini really picked up the slack as well. This may have some holes in it, so if anybody more knowledgeable wishes to add to this, I'd be thankful.

That's actually really interesting, thanks for sharing.

I see.
Like I mentioned earlier, that was because Tokyopop held the English licensing rights for the manga at the time, but then they died without finishing it. They came back years and years later, but never picked it up again.
