Ooh, Stronghart is a step in the right direction, actually. I have him in my fc collection for a while, hoping to use him for someone. I feel like I'm better off saving him for someone else, but I might still consider using him for this one, thanks.

Ooh okay, I'd actually heard of Matilda of Canossa/Tuscany quite some years ago but didn't think about her. Pretty decent fit.
I also thought of doing Margarethe of Denmark and my own take on Eleanor of Aquitaine for other medieval women, but I'll probably go with different FCs for them

Hey, new guy to Beast's Lair here! ...Yeah, I know, weird place to introduce myself.
I had a rough outline for a Servant sheet for this month Servant contest, but would like to see if there's a second option for my FC before I commit to it. Here is the one I currently got:
Current FC
It's a bit clunkier than I would like, but the design already has a Christmas variant, so keeping it wouldn't be the worst.
I'm open to alternate suggestions. Main things to keep in mind is that:
- The FC must be an animal-themed robot or mech suit (Rabbit is preferred, but I can work with other species)
- The Servant is a male Rider with links to futurism
No clue about who you're doing, but I think it works fine. Alternatively, someone from the Megaman franchise might also be able to fit that "male Rider with futuristic vibe" you're going for.
Don't worry too much about that; the Servant really doesn't want people to know who he is.
Looked into this and, while I did see some designs that showed potential, I think I'm going to keep my initial FC. The rabbit aspect does give the design a bit more of a connection to the Servant, and none of the other alternatives were rabbits. I'll keep them in mind for if I decide to make an Alter of him, though.
About me going through with an Elizabeth Windsor sheet, I actually went through quite a few faceclaim ideas of her (since I didn't want to use some of the FGO-style fanart I'd seen of her because, well, it's kinda iffy)
Like I considered both Ruby Rose and Penny (both from RWBY) at one point, with the former being a mechanic with a corgi. Gaige from Borderlands was also considered, though like with Ruby she didn't quite have the right expression. Did think of Azumi from Girls und Panzer which came reasonably close, but I ultimately went with a gijinka of a Churchill tank which in a way is even closer (and in a cyclical way, was one of my first choices)
So, this will probably be pretty specific, for a potential shitpost I'm planning.
I need a farmer or a country guy. And an ascension of him in more "regal" clothes or a warrior's armor. And one picture of him looking extremely pissed.
Alternatively just the first two should be alright, I should be able to work out the rest from there.
The first results I found on Zerochan are BSD's Kenji Miyazawa, and while he does fit the farmer look, he lacks that second ascension I'm going for.
Maybe Lief from Deltora Quest? His "farmer" clothes are bright turquoise though

Oh, Barda from the same show is an older man that starts homeless on the first episode but wears pretty regal clothing by the end. I have the episodes so I'll post some screenshots later today.

Anyway, yeah, this works. I'm still not entirely sure whether this guy should be "badass old veteran forced to return from retirement" or "laid-back young man who just wants to slack off but is forced to keep taking quests", but Gazeff is a good fc candidate so far. Thanks.
