Random suggestion regarding the first post's mega links; maybe put a "full width" space between nz and the first slash to make it more obvious that there is a space present, e.g.:
- mega dot nz /folder/long-URL-stuff-goes-here
I'm a bit late, but it's worth noting that lacale emulator isn't required for ultimate edition; for all I know this could be causing the issue you described, though perhaps the "known good" installation worked as well (such as the one located from the japanese sound of a cat located in Slovenia).
As stated regarding moving the cursor to the corner, it's also ideal to be using a cursor that has a black outline or else you'll still see one or two pixels of white on-screen.
Also, at least on Linux, due to an extremely widespread design "issue" with cursor alignment, one needs to use the bottom-left corner while, on Windows, you need to use the bottom-right corner.
Maybe try sharing your configuration files? It should be the datasc.ksd and datasu.ksd files located wherever your save data is (default folder name is faterealtanua_savedata)
Compatibility info of 「Fate/stay night REMASTERED」:
When the Steam release of 「Fate/stay night REMASTERED」 is released, and this patch is updated to support it, initially, only changed archive, image, audio, and video format support will be implemented.
Feature and script-wise, they will remain as with previous versions of this patch.
New versions of the patch will remain compatible with the old 2011/2012 base game (containing files with file extension .xp3) until it becomes unfeasible to do so.
For Kirikiroid2 support and support for the Vita port with newer versions of the patch, you will need to continue using the old 2011/2012 base game. This is due to similar reasons why the HD patch is not supported.
Since I don't do releases (Quibi does), I don't have a timeline for release.

I'm not too familiar with the new engine format that will be released with steam, so I'll be counting on Alyinghood for extraction and such.
Once that's done we'll do an initial release with the wide background (looking dope!) - it should be very easy to add as we already support wide images.
The wide assets will be included in a separate patch to avoid bloating.
Regarding video and audio - will be used if we find them to be of higher quality.
I don't know how feasible it will be to include the ultimate content to the steam version - but we'll see what we can do.
are there any plans to port any improvement/changes from the remastered ver back to the "old" version? Like the new CGs that are retouched and aren't cropped in 16:9 unlike the vita ver

I shut my eyes in order to see~
has there been any news of the retranslation? or has it been cancelled now that we are getting the official one
does anyone have any links to download the 3 games if possible?
Interesting that they list an OpenGL requirement... I wonder if the new engine actually uses that instead of DirectX (despite also listing DirectX, though I guess that might be a case of being the default form that Steam includes) due to its cross-platform nature? Maybe it'll help with wine/proton/steam deck compatibility as well.
Though why it wasn't Vulkan at this point is a bit odd, but I've ranted in the past that Japan seems to be a bit..."behind" with adapting certain newer & better software (see also: the OPs on the 2015 mobile releases uses Theora despite only being 720p initially and VP8, let alone VP9, having been available for several years, and VP8 is notably light on CPU requirements).
Look at the posts above yours—they've since been edited with relevant information.
The early 2010s PC digital-download version of Realta Nua that Ultimate Edition was designed for got delisted a few years back for one reason or another. Nowadays the following is the only official download for PC (or, well, it will be in 3 days):
That's weird. I even tried to reinstall all the game and patch. But when the render scale is low(default), it still happens.
Here is my faterealtanua_savedata: mega dot nz / file /RN41ESBK #-4RSbYrIIhbYkGN_u-3C0GywlKSVhWh4xhhSaUgGqOo
By the way, do you have the crc-32 information for all latest patches? Some crc-32 information of the patch released by Quibi is out of date, I want to check whether some of my patches are out of date that maybe cause the problem.

I just noticed something interesting: when I compare the system requirements for the remaster to those of Mahoyo, the remaster is slightly less demanding. What do you all think about this?
Grabbed the remastered version today, looks like it's different than the Mahoyo engine. They left some helpful files in `./obb/pack/`, that include:

The other stuff after I'm not to sure about, I'm guessing next is an integrity hash, but haven't confirmed this, and the other numbers at the end are unknowns atm. The main packs in the `./obb/` directory do not have such files though.
Is there documentation on the android/ios version?
Seeing that the steam version uses that version as a base
FSN Remastered archives are encrypted by XOR key (default key at base + 0xBA6D00, size: 4096x16).Key regenerate by xor with something like hash for every entryIt's generates once with startup (func at base + 0x37C090). Decryption func at base + 0x37C380 (may be only for info block). However, I could be wrong about everything.
Encrypted. Right after header (0x38):Code:typedef struct { __int8 Magic[4]; __int32 Version; __int64 FileCount; __int64 DataStart; __int64 Reserved[4]; } Header;
Next is zlib-compressed filepath block.Code:typedef struct { __int64 FilenameIndex; __int64 Offset; __int64 Size; __int64 Unknown; // flags? } Entry;
