I think if he were Caster I could easily see him being a Grand, but what about him would make him Grand Rider specifically?

To be fair, wasn't Orion summoned into Atlantis specifically because of Koyan too? He was meant to fight and kill her, IIRC, except he died killing Artemis instead.
Nothing is explicitly said, but Oberon is The Greatest Huntsman who gets ALL the bonuses when fighting beasts (the animal kind), so you put two and two twogether
KH being a big death guy fighting a life goddess too.
Just wait for when it turns out we need U-Olga's help to fight ORT. That's going to be the main act, because muh patterns.
Don't you mean Orion(True)?
Also, if Taigong Wang's sus is true, then this could be the first time a Grand went rogue and help a Beast. Not to mention there are Koyan's products behind him in the CM. IF he's a Grand.
There're instances where Chaldea fights a Beast Grandless, like Kiara and Kama. Well, Kama's a special case by utilizing loopholes, but I don't remember how Kiara avoid Counter Force's detection.

And if Chaldea is truly on their own here, at least they have help from a potential Beast candidate Ibuki.
Jason and Perseus are eagerly waiting for Jiang Ziya to join the club.
You missed the point of the question, Amado. Note the italic on "Rider".
Whoa, wasn't aware there's such movie. I assume that's the movie's take of Investure Of The Gods. It really is a shame for it not being 2D all the way, but understandable considering how much the quality in that 2D animation.

At 1:36, that really brings to mind Koyanskaya's Treasuring Beast form.
O.K. I've watched this clip so many now and I some ideas on what may happen plus an idea that I think give a different look at Koyanskaya reason.
I think in the first half Chaldea will enter this lost belt/singularity with the plan to end Koyanskayaand the Riders will be summoned by the CF like in other Chapters. Fujimaru will then fight the raid battles and win. Jiang Ziya will use their NP as the final strike and seem to finish Vitch off.
However then the second half begins and because of something that happened before Jiang Ziya will turn on Fujimaru and take over the NFF.

Possibly capture or mind control most of the Chaldeas crew. This will force Fujimaru to retreat. We will end up at the crater of Koyan and see she is still alive.

Fujimaru will not give up despite being backed into a corner and this will wake up Koyan.

I think this is where we will learn what Koyan really wanted. I think like, OG Tamamo, Koyan was made to understand humans and experience what we feel when all seems lost, like hope. She tried business but she never really felt backed into a corner because she always had a back up plan. So when the alien god came she thought trying to grow stronger then it would give her that feeling. By watch people suffer she was in a sense living vicariously through them as well as trying to discover what she was missing. Now that she has been beaten, broken and lost everything Fujimaru determination will be the spark that will light that feeling.
Koyan will then join Fujimaru in what seems an impossible battle against Jiang Ziya and help save everyone else. No longer needing to be a beast she will eventually become Koyanskaya of Light. Using her authority she will increase the power of a weapon ether she had hidden or Chaldea had but had not been able to use and sacrifice her life, with a smile since she finally acquired what she real wanted, to beat Jiang Ziya.
So what do you think? I've been racking my brain and this seem plausible to me.

By all means, Grand Rider should be the epitome of Man and Vehicle as one
In other words, Lu Bu
