The fact that Sion didn't extend her contract means she's confident the bleaching will be resolved soon. Meaning Part 2 is ending. I hope it doesn't clash with the narrative for future Events (New Year, Valentine, CBC, and so on), unless they found somewhere else as a HQ beside Wandering Sea.

Maybe Sion will consider living in the Storm Border, which would be hilarious.

I think the Chinese fox spirit is the earliest (4th century BC). The Indian Dakini originates from around 6th century AD, but the identification of Daji as a fox spirit is also roughly from the same period.

Taking the time to re-comment on this. After thinking some more on it, given this Event is basically main-story stuff, the most likely explanation is that the intro chapters are written by Nasu as he would for any other Lostbelt, with some other writer perhaps taking over afterwards. Basically, Nasu having written most of what has been released today seems almost guaranteed, but that doesn't mean that most of the Event will be written by him. Some people think that the enigmatic part about 'the light' that's narrated near the beginning is very Sakurai, but I'm still not entirely convinced.

I was reading in reddit is it true that Sion says that no matter if they win or lose Chaldea will be destroyed as a result of this battle's?

I would all but definitely say that the prologue and maybe the first chapter in their entirety are Nasu. After that, I'm not so sure though. It doesn't seem like Nasu, and I wouldn't expect him to write an entire event like this either, so it's either Sakurai or Higashide I think but like you said, there doesn't seem to be that much sakurai-stuff, unless she just completely got rid of her signature writing gimmick.

Personally, I read that as Sion is planning to leave soon for X reason, leaving the rest of the work to Chaldea but who knows

No matter how well they fight, Chaldea will be annihilated.

Keep in mind that she's probably more talking about Chaldea in terms of its personnel, rather than the place itself.

Being unable to identify the style usually means its Higashide, ironically.

Also it's not "as a result of this battle", but more "in this battle" since that's the whole context of the scene, that she's talking about Koyan. Basically it's saying we can't win in 6.5 no matter how hard we try (but we all know that's obviously not gonna be the case, not that literally, at least).

That would be pretty sick. Pefect place for him to turn up.

Hey you know another thing about him? He has Beast of Revelation written all over his face

Is that the same thing as what Nanako is? This seems to be a good time to recall that System Apollo (which killed an immortal, Achilles), looks damn similar to the Seventh Holy Scripture.

I am bit confused about Sion's dialogue.

she said she was contacted from wandering sea, then heard the voice from gate/door of ganne/ganu. then she talks about magus from Clock Tower came to wandering sea on 1000AD.

my question is, is ganne a person or just the place?

The text makes it fairly certain all the Gates are people. Sion even calls them 'dignitaries' (歴々).

I suppose you could alternatively interpret them as being 'branches' of the Wandering Sea? And so perhaps each branch is represented by a figurehead of some kind, and that's who is talking on behalf of the Gates? Doesn't really seem like their kind of style though.

a person talking to Sion was that student/disciple right?

I wonder if he is the gate of ganne himself or he's just a disciple sent as middle man.
