I haven't been able to find a thread or subforum for general discussions on this topic (although there are several for individual people asking for help) and I thought that it would be helpful to create a centralized thread for discussions and questions given how many people here are probably at least somewhat curious about learning. If nothing else it would clean up the General Discussion section in the future.
I just want to make sure I don't create a duplicate of an existing thread or subforum I might be unaware of.
