Enjoying the game with Dragonmaid control. Was tryharding in ranked by adding Rokket engine to it but the deck became a dragon link summon spamfest and it became so unfun (and takes a lot of time per game) so I went back to Dragonmaid control. Gonna make a Darklord deck and see how it goes, loving the archetype designs from facing it in ranked.

So, after Lightsworn it was Gladiator Beasts and after those I started on Noble Knights (which I used in DL as well). I need more waifus. Time to start collecting Dogmatika lmao.

Y'know, something I've been thinking about is a problem I like to call "Full Deck Syndrome". With the recent release of the "Rage of Cipher" Structure Deck in Master Duel I picked it up as the Cipher Archetype also came to Duel Links last month and I had been dominating Ranked using it in DL so I assumed the same would be true of MD. But I forgot the crucial difference of there being 40 card decks in MD, so unlike the 20 decks in DL where I can easily draw into the necessary Cipher card I want to set up Galaxy Eyes Cipher Dragon and OTK my opponent, I simply cannot do the same as the Cipher archetype is too small for a 40 card deck and the lack of searching options means I always get stuck with a bricked hand.

Side note: Anyone else feel like the time limit in duels is kinda long? My math is terrible but I think it comes out to like 7 or 8 minutes total but I can't help but when my opponent is taking forever to make a move and the duel ends up going for close to an hour because there's no pressure for time, it hurts my enjoyment somewhat.

I haven't played a single pvp duel, so I've never had that problem!
...That said, the AI often gets stuck in (I assume) some decision loops that can take up to several minutes to resolve or fail out of, so it's not like solo matches go lightning fast either. That, and they sometimes plain fail basic card comprehension, like trying to Raigeki my Gwenhwyfar-equipped Artorigus and THEN Duster-ing my backline (which floats right back to him anyway).

...So yeah, I built a "Plunder Patroll" deck and have been having a lot of fun with the viking trolls. Needs some more Main Deck monsters though, but it's always very cool to just switch strategies within a single archetype, like here's Xyz Patroll but now Synchro and hey let's throw in a Link and then end it off with a Fusion Patroll monster.

I ran out of gems and wanted to build a Necrovalley deck just to fuck with Graveyard abusers, so I decided with heavy heart to do some pvp. Holy shit, you weren't kidding about how fucking SLOW the game gets. Duel Links was lightning fast compared to this.
