Well, AJC did also have Arc and Sion there, so it works...I think.

I'll argue that. Old Spice's Matterhorn is The Shit, and I mean "The Shit" in that it's awesomeness is a wonder of the world. Plus, it doesn't trigger my allergies or asthma like the girly deodorants do.

    Again, I think that's kind-of the point.

Male deodorants aren't supposed to smell nice to men....

Uh, that's all relative, Mike. I like the smell of a lot of mens' deodorants, and I've found that plenty of girls' deodorants and perfumes can be absolutely noxious. Ugh. It sucks when you're stuck in a relatively small room with thirty-odd other students in it packing into the place.

For that case, I'd be more inclined to blame that on some people having really weird tastes in perfume than on simply the difference between those scents marketed to women and those marketed to men. Students, you know? They do silly shit.

Perhaps, but my basic point is still the same.

Men wear deodorant primarily to attract women (beyond the generic "don't smell totally awful" thing, anyway...), and women wear perfume/deodorant primarily to attract men. So, it figures that male deodorant would appeal to women, and female deodorant to men....

I doubt it. Most people in that class would be considered A-level ordinaries. You ought to know the stereotypes of middle-class Western university kids. :P

I dunno, universities are generally pretty diverse, with a lot of people who don't really come across as "normal". Even Oxbridge isn't that full of posh twats....

I live in Genericsville, home to armies of stereotypes. The "diversity" comes in the form of people maybe wearing different colour Uggs and Nikes. :P

    Hey, you don't know that!

There are men out there who want to smell utterly nice to other men, you know?

Honestly I use men's deodorant over women's. First off it doesn't trigger the allergic reaction that a lot of their female counterparts do for me and two it simply works better. I've tried the girly stuff before, and no one notices it, however when I wear the Old Spice I get all sorts of complements on how I smell. Hell, Roadbuster even likes it when I use his soap and same type of deodorant, especially when I use it in combination with like a berry and vanilla scented lotion.

I use girly shampoo and conditioner. Probably for my long hair, I guess. :P

Luckily it's not as long as it was before, but I swear... women's shampoo comes in way bigger bottles than men's!

It does. Now with shampoos and conditioners, I'll stick to my Herbal Essence, Garnier, and Suave: Salon Studio.

It could based in unconscious territory marking in that he likes it when his women smells like him or vice versa.

Should that blade crack then forge once again, untill the battlefield is a graveyard of blades that have fallen and but a single sword claims the field that embodies the world. Fuck yeah, Herbal Essence. It's the only thing that makes my hair smooth without giving me scalp cancer.

Yeah, but it's hardly like the marketing people at deodorant companies recognise that....
