Well...that certainly took me by surprise. I was not expecting them to just drop it so casually like that.

Gotta say, not really digging the starters. The Water one looks like Howard the Duck with a hat on, and the Grass one looks a little too close to Litten for my tastes. The Fire one is a crocodile? Does that mean the Chinese Zodiac theory can finally be put to rest?

Grass feels like the normie option. Sure hope it doesn't evolve into another furry bait like Incineroar. Fire is... weird. I'mma pick water ironically and see what it evolves into. Hope it keeps that yee-yee ass haircut.

Speaking of, the fact that we're back to Dual Versions again is disappointing but not unexpected.

People are convinced this is PokéSpain but I have no clue, nor do I have much of an positive or negative impression yet.

I like Fuecoco, I almost always tend to go with the Fire-Type starter first. The other two are pretty cute too.

It was just a hope. I am Indian-American, after all. That, and we had the dark-skinned Galarians and Copperajah.

Also, yeah, a bell pepper does make more sense now that I think of it.

My first thought was "No wonder Pokemon Games feel so behind the times, they're made in an antique store". So now we have Pokemon Red Red and Pokemon Red Blue. I actually think those starters looks pretty neat, way better than SwSh. Grass looks best in 1st evolution, but I get the feeling Fire's final will be amazing. I'm getting real Don Quixote vibes from the duck, something baout all the windmills in the trailer, the hat, and the Qu in the name.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'm not optimistic about the game's engine. It seems too similar to Legends' right now, and we all know that game is beyond unimpressive graphics wise.
