Speaking of, the fact that we're back to Dual Versions again is disappointing but not unexpected.

Same. Legends' catching system was one of the better parts of the game. Still, the catch rates should likely be lowered just because we're back in present-day, with Wild Pokemon more used to trainers trying to catch them.

Agreed on this front, and actually, I like the PC's design. I just hope they are fully customizable, or at least majorly so. I need to change their skin color, dammit.

Still, I would like a departure from the competitive league format. Maybe the Spanish region has political reasons for not joining the league?

IF they decide not to do a Gym circuit for whatever reasons they'll just put it down to culture/traditions just like they did Alola and Galar. I hope they don't, though, it's already been two generations of mainline games with GF trying and failing to reinvent the wheel. Gyms worked just fine in gens 1 through 6, bring them back.
