In Ikkitousen, I like how they keep finding ways to include Ryofu/Lu Bu even after her first death.

Watched Spy x Family until the latest episode and jumped straight into the manga, and read all of that until the latest chapter too.
Haven't done that for a currently airing series in a looooong time.

I think it's the main theme of nurture that grabbed me by the balls. Either way it's a series I'll be keeping up with both on the manga and the anime, which I also haven't done for eons now.

Also that ED is fukkin lit.

Animation is uninspired, the dialogue and story are dumb, the characters are annoying, and the villain is just the typical "i PlAnNeD EvErYThING" edgelord.

I watched the 1st cour because people were praising this anime to hell and back with "FINALLY A GOOD PROTAGONIST WITH DEPTH AND DEVELOPMENT AND" and I really wanted to like this thing but I kept thinking, like... That dude is literally every isekai protagonist ever. And not even the racoon girl is interesting after the 1st episode. I dunno if it was shafted as an anime adaptation and the novel is far more engaging, but god was I yawning every single second.

That being said, there is something with even less potential than Tate no Yusha, which is Tomodachi Game. Talk about a premise that could entertain you enough if you only played it safe and they couldn't even do that much right.

To me the highlight of that supermarket scene was when Anya asked Yor to train her and that she wanted to be like her.
