Pretty much everyone loved that shoutout when they realized it. Making her that much more brutal.

Don't recognise the character, but cute girls singing death metal will never not be amazing.

Her Xrd self is easily among the most cancerous fighting game character ever designed. The only way to fix her was to just change everything, especially with strive walls. The one move she actually keeps is Bridal Express, so it's pretty much a different char.

I am a little surprised that they completely got rid of the bride theme, since a crazy bridal outfit woman with a shotgun still feels like a Guilty Gear character. The only thing is that her gun is still named something, but she's lost all the other guns. I see this as an absolute win, hope she either makes elphelt players suffer or makes strive unplayable. Either result is fine with me!

(It's worth noting that she has five stars ease of use in character select, and one of her specials is literally just Mai's drive. Mayhaps she is a different kind of cancer altogether!)

I mean, I can't speak at all as to how she plays, but her entire trailer has her voiceover talking about trying various ways to coerce her opponent into signing a marriage contract, so I wouldn't say that they've completely ditched the whole "crazy bride" theme.
