Turtle Island event: "You must neutralize this threat, but don't finish them off yourself because that accomplishes nothing and you'll be missing out on."resourcesfriends
Well, that's certainly not a foreshadowing pattern that will make itself relevant in LB7 wink wink nudge nudge.
That there were will-o-wisp sightings by the beach and they found out it was Cu's fire runes.
Section 6 has what I can only assume is a record number of NPC support choices in 9 (or at least if you pick the Genji armor option)

Construction 2: Let's Give Them Swords/Spears/Piledrivers
For this one you have three choices for what to arm the con with: (A) swords, (B) spears, or (C) Piledrivers. You can only pick one of them (though apparently you can read the others once you finish story), and it seems that only visuals and certain support choices are affected. I have chosen C, so if it ever comes up in the summary, you know what's what.
--- Option A (Swords) ---
While the new helper is setting up the con with their weapons, Lambda talks to the sisters about their gracefulness in cooperation, and asks if they hadn't considered going on stage. It's not something they seem particularly interested in, however. Raikou is the one sent from Chaldea to help with the weapons, and she has just armed every little con with its own sword. She calls them all Minamoto/Genji and orders them all to march out. Benkei snickers at the sudden increase of Genji, and thinks about what it would be like if Ushiwakamaru were there with you.
--- Option B (Spears) ---
Leonidas has been sent to help with the weapons, but it seems before that he's put the con on a tight training regime. They'll grow a lot of muscle, and become great spartans as well. One of the con says there doesn't appear to be much difference, but Lambda thinks most of the exercise was perhaps mental. Motivation and willpower are important too, after all. Either way, with all that muscle, they'll have nothing to fear, and so they brandish their new spears. This is truly Sparta.
--- Option C (Piledrivers) ---
Galatea was sent from Chaldea to assist you with the arms production, which she did perfectly according to the blueprints Da Vinci gave her. Semiramis is screaming, asking where the "red-vested idiot" is hiding, but you simply tell her he didn't come. Mashu explains that he only suggested the weaponry, someone else had to take care of production. Semiramis thinks he would've been a good asset, having lead an army before, but maybe he was scared of failing as a general...
Either way, Eresh asks if Semi won't help now that she's here, but unfortunately your contract with her is limited to securing resources and construction work. She says she's off to deal with some rock formation and hurries off. The sisters think it's weird she even showed up, but you think there was probably someone she wanted to see. One of the sisters would like to discuss it over a drink with Semiramis, they are after all also nobility in a sense.
Galatea announces everything is ready to go.

Section 3: Battle to Recapture the First Area
--- Arrow 1 ---
You've engaged in battle with the hermit monks. Benkei takes care of their enchantments, and you're ready to weaken the enemy and let the con loose. Da Vinci mentions that with data from the previous encounter, she has set up a support program to monitor your damage, so that you don't have to think too hard about going too far with your attacks, since it'll alert you (This is the skill you gain in battle, which reads "when the enemy is defeated, prevents them from disappearing").
[Battle against 7x Hermit Monks]
--- Arrow 2 ---
You manage to defeat the enemy properly, liberating the previously eaten con. With that, you have reclaimed the area of the first battle, as well. Trac (I'm not doing accents again sorry) wonders how she could possibly thank you. Figuring out the enemy identity, arming the con, it was all thanks to you. Everyone is humble as usual, but Benkei wonders more whether the appearance of Hermit Monks means you're somewhere in the sea near Japan. Da Vinci couldn't tell you still. Even at night, it seems a fine mist covered the starry sky, and no geographical clues have been found elsewhere either.
Even so, the war isn't over, and there's lots more fighting to be done. There are still monsters to defeat and con to liberate, and Mashu points out that with more zones cleared out, you'll have more places to use for resources.
The screen changes to black, with ominous music, and narration.
"An event beyond expectations has sprung forth. However.
The bait, and those who feed on it.
They will never cease.
The aquaculture...continues."
This event do be kinda big tho.
Section 4: Intermission
--- Arrow 1 ---
Evening has come to the island, and another Reishift occurs on the beach. This time, it is Morgan who has sent herself and Habetrot there. The way Habetrot describes it makes it seem like Morgan simply utilized the "wake" left behind in the original reishift, presumably like Ranmaru did in Guda6 (she also didn't feel like she did anything wrong, since there weren't a sign or anything that said she wasn't allowed to).
The two of them encounter a con, which they have heard rumors about, shortly after their arrival. Morgan first wonders if it's a fairy, but discards the thought. As long as it's not an insect, she'll be fine with it. Habetrot starts playing with the con, as she has already realized they aren't dangerous at all. Morgan, however, is more interested in the magical characteristics of them, and so she asks to hold it.
--- Arrow 2 ---
In the village, at night, You have a hard time falling asleep, and so decide to go on a walk, when you see a weird light. It's Eresh, taking reports from her spirits that have apparently been patrolling vigilantly. Naturally, she's flustered as she notices you. She's embarrased about what she's been doing in secret, but she thought it would have been bad rep for the queen of the underworld to be so anxious and overly detail-oriented. You compliment her, at which she's even more flustered. You also take a moment to recall all your past adventures together with her.
She's still a bit down, however, about the fact that even though she's lord of the underworld she didn't see what benefit she could really bring you here, and that's why she'd decided to at least let her spirits patrol on a quiet night like this. In fact, the reason she's even up is because she couldn't sleep due to the stillness making her homesick. She does also mention a certain suspicion about something regarding the quality of the air in this place, but quickly dismisses it.
Either way, you shouldn't worry about someone like her working the night shift alone, and so she sends you back to bed. You can even have one of her chilly spirits if you're too hot to sleep. At her request, you return to bed.
Left alone, Eresh thinks to herself how surprised and embarrased she was. Still, it was nice that the two of you could be alone for once, and that you could talk about your past.
Another power move by Morgan... Do we have a timeframe for how long after a reyshift Morgan can just "follow"?
From the time they arrived, to meeting with the sisters and go to their base, expositions, building shelters to training the cons, and with the latest section mentioned it being evening already, I'd say a whole day is about to pass. Dunno if Morgan is capable to utilize the trail beyond that duration.
I'm betting we'll get more Wandering Sea lore reveal at the end of this.
That's one short chapter that leads to a cliffhanger.
