It's saying that Grail Wars that use the Greater Grail (Fuyuki's, Apocrypha's, etc) are practically guaranteed to give at least decent Servants to all participants. Meanwhile, on Sub-Grail Wars, not only are AoG Servants super extra rare, but also participants often get low-tier Phantoms forced into ether bodies instead of actual Heroic Spirits.
There's also the matter of all the good catalysts being either used up in other wars or hoarded by the Clock Tower.

Basically that what it means. It because some of the Grails in the subspecific Grail Wars are just poorly made, of a lower quality, or just cracked or broken.

I haven't the faintest notion, but the idea that grails copied from the Fuyuki one are inferior in their ability to produce servants put into my mind the possibility of a superior grail. Why would Fuyuki, itself a noted pale immitation of the Grand Summoning system implimented by the Counter Force be the apex of grail ability. Let's see the Uber Grail, I bet the Church has it and they're hiding it like cowards!
Anyway, that was my stray tangent brain cell for today, back to the story. Think there's any salient reason Ragnar keeps his axe in a guitar case, or did the author just think it added to the cool rocker image?

Now that Fate:Lost Einherjar volume 1 has been released, will you be working on the translation anytime soon?
1) Thank you so much for translating the prologue.
2) I don't know if it comes up in the actual text, but since I know a Norwegian word or two at least comes up in the art we've seen so far, if any of them appear in the text I'd be happy to help translate them. I don't speak Norwegian, but I speak the next language over and the two are close enough as to be almost interchangeable.
It's only been released physically at Comiket 101 for now, it's quite a bit impossible to get. Wait for when they start selling on Amazon and Bookwalker.
Danish or Swedish? Cuz I'm Norwegian, so I can help too if there's anything you miss.
If you actually speak Norwegian you are eminently more qualified than I am either way given the story takes place in Oslo.
