Whats the odds that the financial ploy they are aiming for is the fact that slightly illogically, people re-buy stuff they already own on PC.
Like, some people would only buy the pc version, but now, they'll buy the PS/Switch version and in 1 or 2 years when the PC version comes out, they buy that one too.
I don't see it being that likely, but if anybody would have that cunning it's probably them
