What is your favorite Halo game?

While I grew up with Reach, I actually like 3 more. The multiplayer is better.

halo 3. it's the one I played the most with friends, just joining random custom game lobbies all the time and playing the classic game modes

halo reach was similar but to a lesser extent. also the custom games were never nearly as fun. halo 2 multiplayer I didn't play much besides a few times with irl friends. halo wars was also actually great, reached max rank playing with friends (prophet best, warthog rush is cringe)

the others were alright or bad in some cases. I'm only speaking from a multiplayer perspective because while halo campaign is good it's not as memorable as the multiplayer

Fairly sure this belongs in the Anime/Games/Doujin section of the General suborum (not the identically named one in the T-M suborum), but a mod can move it when needed.

OT, Halo 2, and it isn't even particularly close. From writing to stages to the basic gameplay nitty gritty, everything excelled. Only ODST had it almost as good.
