Thread: Chapter 6.5 speculation

Ah, I can partially agree, They did not represent Islam well, BUT; they did represent one part of our sector> LIke how Christians have Catholics and Protestans and all others, we have The Sunnah Wal Jamaah ( the standard issue) and the Syiah's.
Under the Syiah sect, we have the Imamiyah, Zaidiyah and lastly, the infamous Hassan i -Sabbah's; The Zabaniyah (Zabaniya) sect. And I daresay they are representing that particular sector well.

conclusion, they didn't represent Islam well, but they are representing the Zabaniyahs well

Yeah, your point is true so that is why I would like a bit more on the Muslim Historical Figures in Fate as Servants

My take is that this chapter is some kind of alt reality where Constantine keeps the empire alive, probably bringing along Paladins and whatnot as famous defenders of Rome. Mehmed II presumably would be his opponent, but maybe not the "antagonist." Is it a Lostbelt? A singularity? Who knows, but the "dream" and "fantasy" theme give me Agartha vibes.

Sion said that the biggest issues after the British Lostbelt were the escaped Beast larva and the potential occurence of the biggest Singularity ever, and Traum is not the former.

Even if he's berserker he's still gonna hold normal conversations. Like pretty much every single berserker in FGO.

Yeah even the left over malice from Astolfo's interlude was surprisingly coherent when they caught him.

I thought E Pluribus Unum was the biggest at the moment. Now I'm wondering where the Singularity will be to exceed that.

E Pluribus Unum's map was almost the entirety of North America, if this is the biggest singularity ever then maybe all of Rome's territory? Septem was just Western Europe.

Didn't Babylonia's Singularity included the whole Indian Ocean, we never really travel there but I was stated that The whole Indian Ocean was a part of that Singularity

Biggest can be indeed about size, but it can also be about complexity.

As interesting as this sounds this doesn’t seems to be the direction the story is going.

However if they wanted to add more Al Andalus paladins it would be the perfect setup for an event.

LB Ruggario seems more save since the original one converted from Islam.

Most likely not. He's the King of the Tatars and Mongols.

  16. #116
I'm pretty sure i read somewhere that when Mandricardo duelled Ruggiero both are referred as Saracen Knight.

Saracen for Medieval Europeans probably just refers to brown people in general, regardless of religion.

I mean Palamedes was described as Saracen, despite Islam not yet existing during King Arthur's time.

Saracen was used as a catch all term for Muslims, primarily of Arab origin, but also of Turkic and Persian/Iranic origin.

That's because the Arthurian mythos is a wretched hive of countless anachronisms, there being Saracens before Islam is founded is just one of many things the ignorant writers got wrong.

Yeah, that's the problem, Manricardo was also a fictional character from an European mythos set in 8th Century. Manricardo being described as Saracen while being the King of Mongolia (Tengrist) is probably also some sort of anachronism.
