Versed is an action roleplay with slice-of-life and mystery elements. In this RP, the world has undergone many changes that make it much different from the one you know. A mysterious event decimated mankind, leaving the remaining populace- without memories- to face several out of place elements. Unknown technology, new continents, undiscovered vegetation, species once thought to be extinct, androids, and even wildlife that can only be classified as monsters. But above all else, the most bizarre change of all was the sudden existence of supernatural powers. A new source of replenishable, seemingly endless energy that would come to be known as arcanes.

About a century ago, everyone in the world lost all of their memories. To be more precise, just about everything aside from names and everyday skills were mysteriously erased from minds all across the globe. Fortunately, man was able to persevere and rebuild; however, the removal of history not committed to written word is something we still feel today. In time, we would come to call this event The Great Loss.
To this day, experts have still not been able to determine what exactly caused such a thing to occur. But, there are a few guesses… The most notable being something that never appeared in any known history prior. The existence of magic and the supernatural.”
This story takes place in a place called Union City, the capital of a new continent in the Pacific Ocean. It is here that you will create your own story as you navigate a web of relationships and motives. Some paths may lead you to uncovering plans for the future of the world. Others may lead you to discovering the secret of what happened nearly a century ago. All the same, the steps you take in your journey could very well shape the story yet to be told. How will you make history?

A: A document containing information of character creation and mechanics can be found here. This document also contains a bit of lore concerning the setting. More info may be added as questions are asked.

A: At least five. Absolute limit of ten. Unless something changes.
Q: What's the tone of this RP?
A: Serious when plot is happening. Not so much otherwise. If you are familiar with the Persona series, that's a good basis for what to expect.
