I really liked the event story tbh. This is about the level of quality I'd expect from a standard event, not...whatever scuffed circus they've been doing....
The doggos were great, Tametomo felt like an actual threat despite his hilarious L's in Traum, and the servants we brought along were a great dynamic cast. I only really have two complaints:
- While Bakin doing this failed attempt to revive his son is bittersweet, it rang hollow since it didn't really tie into the ongoing theme of Chaldea Denying Fantasy. Sure there's the bit about "Oh, he wouldn't have become a servant or someone remembered in history", but that has nothing to do with Chaldea, no? Fusehime is right there, she's perfect for this theme just like Joan was in Traum.
- A better goodbye to Omichi would have been very nice, especially since we likely won't see much of her anymore...Bakin just completely and entirely overtaking her while she only peeks out every now and then really doesn't sit right with me for some reason.
