I'm still wondering what the fuck "É uma lua ruim" is supposed to mean. I can't believe they made Japanese more understandable to me than my first language, it's amazing. Not to mention the sentence structuring looks drunk.

So unless you downgrade your game version, you'll be stuck with the original translation due to crashes and stuff? That's mighty unfortunate.
Not even sure the saves won't be breaking from switching to other game versions constantly or not. And so far there's been no Youtube uploads of any fixed story with this community patch to circumvent the downgrading hassle either, because of course, people don't bother with downgrading to record it in the first place. Have you considered maybe uploading everything "officially" on a YT channel, Petrikow?
It just seems like a waste how many people won't see the good work that's been put into this patch due to this.

I really should make a partial patch at this point. I'll get back to this project once I'm a bit less inundated with stuff to do.

Ok, here we go: patch 2.0 alpha

This should be compatible with the current version of the game. Same instructions as before.

Keep in mind its missing tons of stuff. None of the new boss rushes are translated, nor are Ushi and Dantes' stories, among others. That said, at least it works, and it even has all the Neco-Arc/Mash stuff from the previous DLC, even if in a very rough and barely-proofread form.

You should probably only go for the home stretch once the next 4 characters are out, since they should be the last ones to be added. Would be a shame if a TL update is out only for the game's update to come out shortly after.

Still, there's no reason to rush the perfect edition anymore because now people can get passable accuracy by simply changing their game language to Portuguese.

Portuguese Melty even has well-delivered character voices when the scenes don't have Shiki, Arcueid, or Ciel in them.

There's no way the Portuguese I can believe translation is good. Wait, it has voices?

I mean character voices as in the tone of their dialogue. Things like tweaking Noel's wording to make her sound as bitchy as she needs to, giving Mario the complete carioca treatment to express how foul-mouthed he is, or writing Dantes and Vlov with all the edgy faux-archaism they deserve.

There's always the issue of it not being English.

Well, I guess BL as it is now has a large enough brazilian presence for it to not matter that much within the forum.
And I agree it is an accurate translation even if I'm not that knowledgeable on brazilian slang myself.
