This is actually entirely my fault for not knowing geography, I thought it was the reverse.

Arctic comes from arktos, which is, well, bears. Bear Circle. Bears north, penguins south. ant(i)arctic--opposite bears. No bear circle. xD

- For CQ, she's as useful as Merlin was to you in CQs. Has better compatibility with Castoria than Merlin, so if you summon Support Castoria + Girlin I doubt you'll have a hard time beating a CQ.

My one objection there is that Merlin supplied HP that Castoria didn't, so Proto Merlin has THAT weakness for CQs. You get more damage stacked on arts, but you're giving up the ability to restore chip damage.

If you don't have the meta Artoria Caster, she is the next best thing for Arts, to the dismay of OG Tamamo. I don't see why you should hold back on trying to pull her, unless you are on the expectation that summer Skadi could be the new busted quick support(could be possible), or are saving for a favorite.

I mean I guess I use her in my stall team (Merlin, Tamamo, Castoria) but that doesn't see much use anyway unless I just can't figure out a challenge quest.

It's really just another nail in the coffin that Castoria put her in.

tbh unless you're going to whale, I don't see it as a good idea to put everything into an arts support when we have an alt of a quick support showing up in a week. Just out of sheer caution lol

Oh wait, you meant gameplay? Since you're lacking Castoria this is not a bad option for you IMO.

- For farming people are probably experimenting I guess. So far for what I tried passive + 2nd append skill + 3rd skill against 3 or more enemies = 100% NP gauge first turn, so apart from her Arts Up she can add a 5-10% NP charge per turn (depending on level). Then you also have her Charisma for another 20%.

Well yeah, stalling and long battles are what Tamamo is good for.

I just can't see a use for proto Merlin that would replace Tamamo unless you're lacking Castoria. They overlap on NP drain and arts buffing ffs, Tamamo's been off out of normal meta uses for ages now.

Its just fact for me

Yeah, arts has the best tools all around. You have healing, NP charge, NP drain, NP charge per turn, stargen from a variety of random places, skill cooldowns, and most of the healing or guts options. Buster can do horrifying farming damage pretty easily, quick's dropped off (aside from weird stuff like Melt's ability to 3t crit everything to hell). They were literally only missing a crit buff for the card type, and look who showed up (although I'd rather NP loop arts tbh, crits still feel more secondary)

I have to say, originally I was considering aiming for Ibuki since I didn't like Skadi's swimsuit, but then I saw Skadi's summer dress in the story. And she also has Wu Zetian as 4* while Ibuki has Erice which is a big meh for me.

Guess the final decision will be after I see their animations and gameplay.

Just think of the earth as north-side up all the time (because obviously north would be pointing up), so the antarctic, which sounds like anti-arctic, has to be the bottom.

It really really sucks unfortunately. Not like it matters for this one, but in previous summer events at least I was guaranteed to get two new SR Summer Servants but now I can only get one if I only want to roll one gatcha.

My experience is quite different, I've even gone NP2-5 on the SSR and missed one of the SRs more than once. The lack of guarantee for SRs sucks.

But solo SR rate-ups suck too because it's a coin flip on getting spooked, split-rate SRs at least dunk the chance of being spooked to 0.6%.

See, we've gone from two banners with four SR options (and due to banner rotation, you could roll individually if you wanted) to only 3 SR options and instead 3 SSR options.

In all regards, your chances of getting multiple summer Servants have gone down, and you're far more likely to run into "the SR and SSR I want are on different banners". I'd have rather had four SRs and no rotation to individual odds, tbh.

Y'all are being silly. I got already got Merlin and will just do daily cheap rolls until Skadi releases. You can try for both.

I'm not Ibuki-pilled so I probably won't throw into that banner much at all, although I will somewhat since I do want Erice. But I won't do any serious rolling in it, just daily single pulls until Skadi releases.

tl;dr - I believe in you guys getting everyone your hear desires.
