I'm starting to question if Meteo is unironically blacklisted, dying of sickness, or if Requiem is simply that unpopular, because there's still no Volume 3 somehow. Mostly anecdotal, but I've been browsing a lot of bookstores recently and somehow I NEVER manage to find Requiem copies. I found a phys of Volume 1, but still no Volume 2 despite constantly going to stores with entire Fate aisles that are filled with all the other series, and I've started to question if the 4chan meme of "Requiem is a flop" doesn't have some actual credit lol

To be fair to Deathhappens, medieval manuscripts of oral tales are notorious for their inconsistent spellings and so the dog's name has also been written as "Anet" as well so they weren't a million miles away.

Poor doggo though, did not survive the quest unlike Cavall, but I suppose that was why the latter was Artoria's favourite.

Actually, having just read the summary and corresponding raw text (like I probably should have done at the start), I'm not sure it was a "mistake" so much as they seem to be just going with the atypical spelling of Anet rather than Aned. I suppose it wouldn't be the first time since Tristan's F/GO profile explicitly calls his lover "Isolde" (from Wagner's Opera adaptation) even though it doesn't make sense that an Irish princess would have a German name and IIRC the NA translation actually fixes it to Iseult.

Of course your millage may vary on how much any of this actually matters when it's just a dog at the end of the day.

Well, like I said before with the leaks, this may be the worst summer lineup so far. I'm simply amazed they ignored so many old favorites requested for so long by so many just to focus on a bunch of Who Cares. Like I also said before, just having a few of them in a better list would have worked great but the sum of them all is just a disappointment.

Merlin- Okay, this is the one actual good surprise IMHO. Could it be a monkey paw thing? They gave us another arcade exclusive of sorts just to jinx us some other way as a way to 'balance'-? Also, odds of this being Male! Merlin pulling the magic equivalent of crossdressing rather than Arthur's actual Merlin?

Erice- I don't like the character personality wise. Also, if they want to remind people of Requiem they should just publish another fucking volume already.

Ibuki- She at least looks less grotesque now but I still don't like the character as such.

Gareth- I can't bring myself to dislike her and she's one of those I think would be a fine addition to another lineup. The clothes design of choice is rather plain but it suits her I guess.

Wu- I'll admit this is a pleasant surprise of sorts. The designer does great looking older women (Jennifer!) but he's typecasted himself into lolis. Better than what I was expecting.

Skadi- Meh. I've always been totally apathetic to her.

Valkyries- Much like Gareth, I'd have liked seeing them in a better lineup.

It's funny because I think this might be my favorite summer lineup yet (along with summer 4), and the ones I don't care about are those people seem to appreciate (Lady Avalon & Wu). I've been hyped ever since I read about Skadi, Valkyrie and Erice in the leaks. Definitely a step up from last year since I only liked Anastasia and Sei there.

I'm just irritated that people want Eresh this much and they refuse to provide her. And then deniers/haters/whatever try to act like Ishtar getting a summer unit means Eresh can't, as if we don't have:

Last year's was the worst imo. There are no one I like (altho I somehow got both SSRs)...

2017 was also bad. Dont care about all of them.

Also, this Merlin is not male Merlin, dude's cameo ed early in story and his weirdness sense is tingling lol
