They said the problem with reruns is low player engagement, so maybe they did this Valkyrie 3-piece thing to increase player count in reruns? If we start to see an increased number of "pick your reward" type deals in new events this theory might make sense.

Low player engagement could be due to not that many people getting into at this stage of the game and only the dedicated fan base remaining, but i have no actual proof for this theory.

That aside, this feels like too much of a trade off in favor of new events.

I think going so far to cutting down events that has freebie Servants are a bit too much. I skipped last year summer and Guda due to no quartz depression so I don't have Da Vinci and Ranmaru.

Also I hope they do smth about super old events like KnK or Guda 1.

He does have a point there. I have basically just not really bothered with CCC and Ooku Reruns because I technically did them already despite the 3 week Window.
And in some other Reruns, I basically just half-ass them just as equally. I can understand players not being fans of it due to Rare Prism losses and not getting as much SQ but that's nothing actually using Main Interlude for that purpose won't fix(or just allowing Welfares to be easily gotten).
