I get where the Eresh (or Medusa and whoever else has been ignored for no reason) fans are coming from, but I wouldn't fault the current lineup for their assence. I wouldn't call them "literal whos" either, there are some fairly popular fan favorites like Proto Merlin or Skadi (at least outside BL since I haven't seen much excitement for her summer version here), even if less than Eresh.

Anyway for me it's Las Vegas > Arctic > Summer Camp > Hawaii > Boar Island > Caribbean > Summer Death Race

Summer Camp is a really close contender too though.

3) This one with 2 hits, 1 okay, and so far 4 this exists but other Ascension can make Ibuki a miss.
4) Las Vegas with 1 hit, 2 okays, 3 this exits, and 1 miss.
5) Ishtar Cup with 1 hit, 2 okays, 4 this exists, and 2 misses.
6) Treasure Island with 1 hit, 4 this exists, and 2 misses.
7) Shadow Island with 2 okays and 6 this exists.

I'm more okay with 7 than I expected to be but the Swimsuits I like the most all being SSRs is pretty painful. Looking at summers in terms of Want, Neutral, and Would Trade for a Favorite:

I honestly think 4, 3, and 1 are in whole separate league though because almost every design/character was great.
5 is basically saved by Abby and Tomoe. And 2 just has Nito. Still very unfortunate Ishtar was wasted on that welfare design.

I never understood the dislike of 6, but that's mostly because I have Charlotte, Mandricardo, Achilles, and Caenis all Grailed, so...


This Summer only has one Gatcha servant I care about at all. And the lead over Summer 2 in characters is kinda crushed by the fact that I really enjoyed the dumb Wacky Races story. And also Quezt suplexes the Bull of Heaven. And it starts Scheherazade's character development arc.

The only way this doesn't end up as my least favorite Summer is if Wu is, like, the ultimate super protagonist, and the whole plot devolves into her building a new empire and the logistics of that. Which is something I doubt the rest of you are very interested in.

I'm also super biased against Ibuki just on principle. I'll never forgive her getting a swimsuit over regular Shuten.

...shit, we could have gotten a Kintoki/Shuten Summer fling subplot.

Was playing with Gareth Summer's model and made a funny little discovery. First ascension has a hidden set of clothes underneath, a little removal from the sprite sheet and I made it visible. Personally I like this more than second ascension, which just looks like underwear rather than swimsuit. Also, ORKN probably stands for Orkney.

I've heard a bit about the new Merlin and I was wondering how strong a set up with double Castoria, Chen Gong, Merlin, Meta NP booster Servant (NA player so I'm trying to avoid big spoiler so I'm not looking at his name), and Tamamo with bond CE while using Mystic Code: Chaldea Combat Uniform is. The plan I had was have the Castorias use skills then Chain their NPs with Chen when one Castoria goes Merlin comes in then use MC to switch in Tama for the other Castoria. Have have them both use their Skills then Merlin and Chen use their NPs and have the Meta NP booster come in. On the 3rd turn Chens Arts up should be over 200%, NP up about 100% and attack also about 100%. Sorry about this but I've also hear that Tama in no longer needed so I came up with this idea to show how we can use all the Art support for a big play.
