Fate has infected Typemoon so bad even the other employees only understand stuff in the form of FGO stat sheets
i like the fact that Luminary can only be hurt by attacks that "that looks like it would hurt" soo rather than BEEAAMU`s you`re more likely to get a response by climbing her hand and stabbing her under "her fingernails"
Damn it. Who put Fate stats here?
Anyways. Luminary was said to be only possessed by TA royalty in one sentence. Then say normal TAs also enter Luminary state in another. Isnt this contradictory?
Regarding the breath of the planet stuff. Its describes as cleaning Ether into something deadly to humans. Does that mean she turns Ether to True Ether?
Also didnt expect Arc to have a grim ending if she hadn't been stopped.
Also i wonder how one creates a new TA from the dispersal of the Luminary. Do they like respawn like a phoenix or have to be made by other beings?

well, the church knows warnings Luminary state even if Ciel herself doesnt understand it enough not to trigger it. so it must`ve happened in the past so there might`ve been a few royals walking around in the past...
pre Remake royalty meant summoning the Millenium Castle, has that been stated in the remake to still be the case?
The Luminary should only belong to Royals. The game states the church has fought royalty before. Obviously how they can leave records of it. There wasn't anything like in OG about taking the title of Brunestud relating to royalty or being able to manifest the castle. The fact that royalty has existed implies it's no longer the same standard. My bet is you have commoners, royalty(can trigger the luminary) then special snowflakes like Arc(Alt) who are royalty suited for the title of princess and being the brain.
It's more like the frame reacts to her thoughts, and whether she remembers something that previously hit her was painful. So she needs to be hit by something she can understand. Dealing damage was stated to be impossible IIRC. Which makes sense when you consider the initial energy density.

Wasnt something mentioned in Melty?
Brunestud [Term]
Despite being Arcueid's last name, strictly speaking it is actually more like a title. It is possessed by all of the members of True Ancestor royalty.
The Millennium Castle Brunestud where Arcueid had sealed herself away is not her original creation, but was actually created in the past by the most powerful True Ancestor, using marble phantasm. That original lord of Castle Brunestud died long ago, but ever since those True Ancestors capable of forming the castle have been uplifted as royalty
Crimson Moon [Term]
Another name for the organism that was used as the template for the True Ancestors. Also known as the Crimson Moon Brunestud.
After he vanished, individuals close to him in power started being honored with the title of Brunestud.
However, in the long history of the True Ancestors, only two have ever received the name.
Or that has been retconned?

Seems like the definition of royalty is different from the Brunestud title now, but who knows.
Even ignoring the old definition im also confused by this part
>In fact, the True Ancestors were only ever birthed to create a frame on the level of an Alter-Ego of Earth. All True Ancestors outside of Arc were failures.
So if
TA royalty=highest grade TAs and are alter egos of the planet
Yet everyone outside of Arc are failures so how did they even count as royalties in the first place?
The only assumption i can make is maybe failed royalties are something like lords and only Arc is the only true royalty? So confusing
Maybe we'll get more clarification when Altrouge makes her appearance

The way I see it any TA can potentially result in this phenomenon. But it's likely to be small and since they don't have the mental strength to reconstruct their body afterwards they just end up returning to the planet. Or in the case of fallen TA they end up causing mayhem for a bit. The royalty bit is likely an spectrum, same with how large the luminaries could get.
The text here says Arc is special in the sense she works as the planet's brain, which means she can hold the energy of the planet inside her. I'm pretty sure that's the main difference between her and other TA, the fact she can house the planet's soul inside her, which is that massive ball of ultra-compactified energy.

Tsukihime 2 Prelude III
A failure is a failure in regards to not being pure enough to become brain of the planet/CM's vessel, not in whether they are considered royalty. As for that,
THEN: You are TA royalty if you a) are close to CM in power, and b) can manifest the castle -> b1) are called "Brunestud" -> b2) are Arcueid or Not!Altrouge
NOW: You are TA royalty if you α) are a TA "of the highest grade", and β) can inflate.
As long as a=α, waiving b is no issue.
Couple notes:
Fake Ether → INFLATED ARC → True EtherShe inhales magical energy (mana) from the atmosphere and then exhales it into the outer world as new magical energy after circulating it through her body—a Mana Cleaner.
This is the reason why the Earth gets filled with high-density mana when the Luminary appears, causing humans to die.
Might be the technique CM bequeathed that allowed TA to make more TA. Tribute one, roll for a stronger one, keep failing until you get Arc.→ On the other hand… if one was to use the Luminary as a means of birthing a new, stronger individual instead of as a means of returning it to normal, then this would not apply. It would be able to act as a new True Ancestor, while the Arcueid of before would then quite literally disappear.
INFLATED ARC Pure-white human-shaped celestial giant Designed around physics babble Destroys cities (at least) Has a core (target) Killed by conceptual knife bullshit TYPE-JUPITER Pure-black human-shaped celestial giant Designed around physics babble Destroys continents Has a core (target?) Killed by conceptual sword bullshit

Is Ether poisoning a thing when in concentrated quantities? Or is just True Ether that's harmful?
Was Type Jupiter humanoid? I thought it was more like an arthropod
