Oh yeah, there's the money shot.
Have to admit. Power's rather blunt view on death and, more importantly, human coping mechanisms in regards to it are kind of a turn-on.
My Hero Academia Episode Season 6 Episode 115: Mirko is pretty cool, I like their attitude. To get an injury like that after like that and still be able to move... It's shame that it happened with her big debut episode.
The Doctor being able to cultivate and duplicate Quirks makes sense for a lot of things.
I loved the moment with Kaminari at the end though. He didn't even want to be at the front, but after he took Midnight's advice to heart, he just rushed forward.
If a grand reason to fight is too much for someone, thinking of the more personal reasons can work instead, haha.
It was a great episode, can't wait to see the next one, it looks Hawks is going to make his move.
Spy X Family Episode 13: I like the first opening more, but the new one will probably grow on me. The episode itself was good, I like the way that they're showing the dog's visions.

Spoiler:
Watched ep 3 of Chainsaw Man. Have to say for all the show's dedication to being ultraviolent shlock, I think it's the odd sentimentality that elevates this series. Power is objectively a terrible person, but her relationship with the cat she adopted where she wistfully mused it was the only living thing that met her gaze she didn't kill was genuinely sweet. Similarly despite being betrayed by Power and only agreeing to help in the first place to grope her boobs Denji still can't help empathizing with her when he compares her experience of losing Meowy to his bond with Pochita.
Of course it culminates in a big action sequence where Denji literally rips the Bat Devil a new one. I like the emphasis on Devils being outright horrified of Denji, calling him disgusting (despite being far worse themselves) and a monster while he implacably advances toward them. It really drives in his horror-hero aspects (as if him being a guy with a chainsaw for a head weren't enough).
Power raising Meowy just to, as she claims, eat her actually reminds me more of that Princess Bride scene where the current Dread Pirate Roberts was raised by the previous one who always said that he was going to kill him in the morning.
Huh, you'd think that siring him would be the most probable outcome.
I've been hearing good things about Chainsaw Man so I decided to ignore my usual rule of waiting for the season to be over before checking out new stuff and after three episodes, I can safely say it's passed the test. Denji is hilarious as an MC, Pochita is adorable and I would buy a plushie, the action is great and the world has me intrigued what with Devils and Fiends being both public knowledge and references to the Soviet Union.
I'm definitely sticking with this one.

Spoiler:
Arknights 1 is out, and I approve.
They didn't get as much into the episode as I expected, considering they only have 8 to play with, but it was well-paced and solidly presented. Less music than I expected from the music company that also makes games, though.
Comparing it to SamiDare is just...
Honestly the only thing I know about Arknights is that one ad from a few years ago that was everywhere on youtube, with a bunch of girls getting into a barfight and then cruising down an empty highway, covered in bandages after. As long as it live up to those 20 seconds, I'll give it a shot.

FF XIV: Walked to the End
Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Arknights ep 1: Good first episode. The first half, while pretty slow, has some great atmosphere. It gives of really melancholic, lonely and isolating vibes that align with what the Doctor would be feeling. The 'OH SHIT' faces on everyone when they learn of the Doctor's amnesia are priceless. Overall, I have newfound hope for this adaptation.
Spy X Family Episode 14: The scene with Sylvia interrogating the terrorists was so good. I laughed when Twilight was just moving around as the other man in disguise and Keith didn't know what was going on. Another great episode.
