So this will adapt the first 2 chapters of the novel? This feels like the hour long first episode of fate/zero.
We've seen footage of every chapter of the first volume and a little bit of the second (Saber's arrest). For the volume 2 stuff they should technically cover his summoning too but they might skip it and it could just be left as a stinger at the end.
The OVA is probably 48 minutes so it'll probably be quite rushed.
The con panel where this is premiering is 1h20m but we need to account for the time for the panelists to talk too, the episode won't take up the entire time.
Yeah, the 80 minute runtime make me think it can't be longer than the 48 minutes, as Japanese panels love wasting time.

Something I hadn't thought about til now is how this will be structured. Like volume 1 has every team focused on in order, will this be done like that or will it instead have the scenes laid out chronologically and change between the teams?
Probably in the order it was in the novel. Start with Gil, end with Gil and Enkidu. Plus they'll fit Richard's arrest in there somehow, maybe his summoning too.
