    [FGO JP Event] Chaldea Faerie Knight Cup


    Participation criteria: Clear Avalon le Fae (*) Event duration: November 9th ~ 23rd

    Synopsis
    SHOW
    Visiting Chaldea is a lone knight, demanding a certain queen put them into service.
    Nevertheless, for a queen without a kingdom to rule, any further retainers are unnecessary.
    And so, the knight's pleading came to naught; their desires forever remaining unfilled...
    Or so it ought have been

    Because of the whispers of the mischievously grinning Baobhan Sith,
    who appeared almost like a child having found a new toy to play it,
    a previously concealed training facility inside of Chaldea's simulation room revealed it self:
    The Athletic Zone!


    The knight, to prove her own abilities; to become the Expeditionary Faerie Knight under direct command of the queen;
    now throws herself into an athletic tournament where heroic figures of unprecedented magnitude are all aiming for the top!
    Now begins the very first Faerie Knight Cup!

    A knight who appears in the epic poem 'The Faerie Queene'.
    She was King Arthur's friend and travel companion in his youth.
    A master of the spear.
    She set on a journey to find her fated partner,
    being embroiled in many adventures along the way.

    Such was the womanly knight Britomart, who was the mother
    of the Faerie Knight before you, having passed on her name to her daughter.
    In other words, this is Britomart the II!

    A maiden dancing in the wind.
    She is Faerie Knight Britomart the II,
    under direct command of Faerie Queene Gloria!

    There was also that one time where Britomart had an affair with Amoret, but it apparently didn't count because they were both women (the stanza says they slept together, and IIRC the wording implies that it was sexual). Hooray for Elizabethan double standards, I guess?

    Queen Gloriana is the titular Fairy Queen from Spencer's work, she Arthur's love interest in the story and her name and character are taken from Elizabeth I who one of her nicknames in life was Gloriana
